There damn well needs to be a $100 price cut across the board ffs.
There wont be an iPhone XR2
I will NEVER get used to that stupid curved screen. It's really nice. Just got it a few days ago. I have a week and a half to return it if I change my mind and go with MAX. Honestly if MAX had a fast charger I might have gone with it. The S pen is kewl. Can take family photos by pressing S-pen button. The AKG tuned buds are not so good, but still ok. The OLED screen is breathtaking.

You know you can get a anker fast charger for like $20?It's really nice. Just got it a few days ago. I have a week and a half to return it if I change my mind and go with MAX. You are actually right in all respects. I was not happy with the Note 10+ camera at all. It is the most beautiful (Aura Glow) smartphone out there.I was deciding between the Note 10 and the 11 pro
I eventually bought the 11 pro (at a 30% premium) as:
1. My whole ecosystem is on apple. Thinking of changing my childrens GPS tracking system, storage of pictures on icloud, app store authentication system, etc. were too much
2. The 11 pro camera is better, and i do like cameras
3. The 11 pro materials are slightly higher grade. This means something to me as i carry it around
4. The Note 10 pen is plasticy and I might loose it
5. the projected battery life of the 11 pro is better
I would say therefore that the 11 pro and apple won
But it was close
I think the camera was better than my Xs max for maybe outdoor photos but for taking pictures of my kids which is basically what I use my camera for the Xs max is better. Even for outdoor pics I was just used to the more natural look on my Xs max. The note 10+ is a great phone though. Just prefer the iPhone and the apple ecosystem. I’m sticking with the Xs max for another year I think. You are actually right in all respects. I was not happy with the Note 10+ camera at all. I did use the Notes from the Note 7(disaster), Note 8, 9, and 10. The Note 10+ is a superb Android, except you won't get instant security updates like the Google Pixels. For a while I would go from Apple to Android. The Pixel 3 XL does have the best camera on a smartphone, but I don't care for the plain looks and the lack of accessories. The Pixels are always heavily discounted by Google because they don't sell as well as Apple and Samsung. Apple has always had a better camera than Samsung though. And since I'm not a professional photograper, the Apple cameras have always made me happier than the other makers' cameras. And now that it's easy to integrate Google Apps into an Apple, Apple trumps all the others.I think the camera was better than my Xs max for maybe outdoor photos but for taking pictures of my kids which is basically what I use my camera for the Xs max is better. Genuinely curious, how does this make you feel that you were completely wrong with your anecdotal assertion about there ‘wouldn’t be an XR2’, and guess what, not only did Apple return the XR (Now known as the iPhone 11) for another year, but they reduced the price as well. I guess we’ll just chalk your claim up as...false.![]()
Slow sales???As much as I like my Xs Max, Apple's current business model of 'raise the prices by $50-200 everytime we come out with something new' is greedy and unsustainable

The iPhone is selling out on release date like all the previous years! Go to Apple.com, none of the 11 Pro Maxes are available for in-store pickup. Anyone who didn't preorder is not getting the phone on 9/20/19. Unless they're going to line up outside an Apple Store at 2 A.M.Slow sales???

I’m curious, why would anyone suggest increased prices when there clearly are none, and slow sales when there’s strong support for robust sales (apple no longer reports numbers)?
My only answer is that they’re practicing for ‘Apple’s Christmas sales are terribly slow’ schtick that we’re about to get into as we approach Thanksgiving. And almost every year Christmas sales set new records.
Slow sales???
apparently they are not having slow sales:

This thread is from almost a year ago about a different set of iPhones. (Not quite sure why it suddenly got brought up again.)I’m curious, why would anyone suggest increased prices when there clearly are none, and slow sales when there’s strong support for robust sales (apple no longer reports numbers)?

Fairly clear that’s not really the aspect what was being commented on those posts.Well, he was partially right. No more Xr naming. And, the price drop was expected since it's a mid ranger with a low near-720p display at flagship prices.

People don’t really care about the screen though do they? It’s about what the phone offers practically and the iOS experience. Price is key as no flagship on the market is particularly blowing anybody away and hasn’t been for some time. The days of mass yearly upgrading are well and truly over.Well, he was partially right.
