Does it include making iTunes match no longer suck?
No?
Oh well...
Ah, I thought it was a rewrite when they added 64-bit support. Well now I definitely think it needs to be rewritten. COME ON APPLE. Haha
Be careful what you wish for. Pages was a rewrite and they removed half of its features and ruined the UI.
Seems like iTunes is due for an overhaul, from the ground up... Maybe it's just me, but it feels clunky as it has grown to do much more than music...

I've looked at my movie library - I don't see anything different other than it saying 'iTunes Extras (Original version)'. Where do you see the blue label, or get it to stream directly?
Cheers
I have a lot of older movies that just show that message as well. This is kind of a confusing mess for iTunes on the Mac. Why wasn't this new process streamlined for every single title with iTunes Extras?
Update: Apparantly, these movies that don't show the iTunes Extras logo but that still have a link to download the "original" iTunes Extras on the Mac can't even be played on Apple TV, and I assume it won't play on iOS either. What a huge let down.
Today's news was bittersweet. It seems like Apple only went halfway on their promise.

I don't know why, but almost every apple service is half-baked.

iCloud
iTunes match, that almost never misses to annoy

How's this for an overhaul?

Well, I would think that it's going to take a while to get HD iTunes Extras content for every movie that has them.
Dare I say give it a few weeks (months?) before you pass judgement?
Crazy thought, I know.
Don't make me laugh. iTunes Extras on Apple TV was promised by Steve Jobs back in 2010.
Here's the link to his words: https://www.macrumors.com/2010/11/0...-extras-and-itunes-lp-coming-to-new-apple-tv/
After four years and an official press release by Apple, I think it's quite fair to expect all of my movies that previously did include iTunes Extras to be fully supported in streaming playback on my Mac and Apple TV.

Are you referring to it requiring one to sign in again randomly? That annoys me, but it's only a minute of my day, so I'll deal.
