The only reason I can think of is that there are not many HD computers out there.
The monitor hooked to my computer is higher resolution than an HD TV. Most monitors are.

I recently upgraded to iTunes 7.6.0.2.9. I love renting movies and wanted to give iTunes a try.
iTunes is 0-2.
Ive rented two movies Blades of Glory and Transformers and I wasnt able to watch either of them.
Ive used iTunes to watch TV shows, music videos, etc. Ive even WATCHED purchased movies on iTunes!
But, Im not able to watch the rentals.
After the movie successfully downloads, I click PLAY. A dialog box opens and says I have 24 Hours to watch the movie.
Then.. another dialog box opens to play the movie (like normal) but all I get is a giant black screen. Then....My iTunes FREEZES.
My Laptop does NOT freeze.
iTunes only freezes on Movie Rentals and not movie purchases. So, this is an obvious bug .
Im out $8.00.
