Speed under Windows is absolutely terrible. I half think they do it to put people off Windows.
TV Show genius is pretty cool, but the question is will it work with user added content like music or only iTunes store purchased videos?
I have a 245GB iTunes library. Mostly it is CDs ripped to Apple Losses. about 12,000 tracks. iTunes is not slow at all on my 24" iMac. The library lives on a 1TB Segate disk connected via FW800. I can scroll through the entire library about as fast as I can move the mouse. searches for a composer or band have zero lag time. hard to see how it could be faster.
And will this finally add the feature that I can copy --any-- mp3 file (read: a file that I have not bought from the iTunes store) from --my-- iPod to --any-- of --my-- computers? Something tells me that iTunes will remain the same pile of DRM dung as before.
Love the idea of 'no-thinking' TV watching. Sometimes, after a long day, that's exactly what you want. One or two clicks and relax with whatever sensible (or not) vid pops up!
Just out of curiosity, does anyone have more tracks than this in an iTunes library? Personally, I'm just interested in music tracks.

The new visualizer is in the current 8.0 version of iTunes, so its old news.No one commenting on the new visualizer? It's above speed improvements on Apple's page, so it's more important![]()
