Just how bad were you expecting Unbox to be?

That's like saying despite my flight being delayed, the airline losing my luggage, and my hotel burning down, my vacation wasnt too bad...

You have a point but my point is that once I got the download started and actually watched the movie it was better than expected. Apple is king when it comes to simplifying user experience so they should be able to easily surpass the Amazon store but cost, selection, and probably the ability to rent are major concerns in this market IMO. Even if Apple supplies a better user experience if I can't rent for less than $4 per movie from them then I will use Amazon's service or keep my Netflix account. I guess I just found a reason for me to install Windows on my Mac.

Oh the missing details

Ok call me obsessive, but as a designer it would be nice if they didn't use inch marks for their single quote on “It’s…” It’ll be exciting to see the movie store, but I really want that streaming express. Cable internet in Brooklyn sucks too much for big downloads :(

       :D

I really hope that's a fake. TubePort sounds like a high-tech sausage.

I thought this the other day when seeing the trailers for the Star Wars DVDs being released today for the original 3 films being sold seperatly.
Could this tie in with the predicted sales model of the movie store on iTunes?
I am not sure of the relationship between lucas art and Apple, but we will see.

Old News.

It's not confirmed, it's probably not even real. There's a whole thread about it and it's old, old news.

Hi,
One more thing, I hear England will be announcing their Ashes cricket squad in a few minutes time, so please divert your attention there for a short while.

Hey Steve,

Ballmer here. Can you divert some traffic to my site? You see, my kids don't use iPods.

I do hope England gives Australia a good fight in the Ashes. We're all waiting for it :D

isn't 640 x 480 the standard def one?

No - not for TV resolution. The best way to determine resolutions is to open up Final Cut Pro and check out the settings.

Check out the settings for 16:9 - the resolution would have to be one of those options.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
I don't wanna go to my Calc class.
Evertime I look at my iTunes where it says "It's Showtime," my heart beats a little faster...

I'm pretty sure that they didn't. But I just read that I was wrong. But I'm pretty confident that they won't do it this year.
They did...I know because I got a free mini and wanted the nano instead. It all has to do with the part numbers listed in the rebate form...only those qualify. So if anything is new today...they will have different part numbers than the current iPods and therefore won't qaulify for the promo.
