Its the best smaller size tab today and for the price it cant be beat. Sounds like you jist didnt know how to use it.

You're kidding, right? You know that's just an opinion. I think it's completely overrated. You think it's the best small tablet. I'm pretty sure I know how to use a goddamn tablet. I've had it for over over a year. The first one had speaker issues. The second one had a bad mic or mics. The 3rd one that I kept doesn't turn on unless I hold down the power button for about 30 seconds. Just because I don't like it and think it's overrated doesn't mean I don't know how to use it. Not everybody will like the same things.

How do you tell what week the screen is from, from outside the box?

Serial number is on the back of the box. Use the chipmunk serial thingy to check it on one of the devices in the store or your smart phone.

Bought 2 128GB/LTE/White, both with the retention issue and a yellow tint at the bottom. Both DLXLQ (week 47). Both returned.

I think I will wait until january before trying another buy. I hope I’ll end up getting a good one.

I had a bad experience with a macbook pro retina affected by image retention 2 years ago. The issue is getting worst over time. If your model is affected and even if you don't notice it in normale use, go for an exchange. After it will be too late...
