I've started fasting. Last summer I fasted, drinking only water for about 3 1/2 days. The benefit I feel I obtained from this last summers 3 1/2 days of fasting was it laid the foundation for my nutritional intake afterwards. I ended up losing 15 lbs (not during the sat but afterwards) when I went a whole month eating only vegetables...with the occasional apple or banana. My mentality felt a lot more clearer, I would go to sleep at midnight and wake up at 8am, as opposed to going to sleep at 3am and waking up at 1pm (the life of a college student). I'm currently 25 hours into my fast, again drinking only water. I figured I'd simply start such a thread, assuming I'm not the only one that has attempted this before or has an opinion on the matter.
