That 2nd case is better than the ivycase because the edges look like they go beyond the screen. I have a similar case on the way this week except and hopefully the flash cutout is larger.

Some many negative reviews on line but none on IVYSKIN website

Well the cases have finally delivered and most reviews are NOT GOOD. However, if you go on to the IVYSKIN website you see nothing but glowing reviews; 4 and 5 stars! Guess what? I have l already left two 1 star ratings more than a week ago and has yet to show up! Imagine that...a dirtbag company like IVYSCAM not putting on truthful reviews. Who would of thunk it??

Additional Information

As of 7/29/10, BBB has received 25 complaints regarding delivery of products ordered by consumers; most involve the iPhone 4 reception case. These complaints are currently pending as BBB is waiting for the company's response.

that's it ? that number should be higher.that company is such a scam.well after i've received my refund i am still pissed

After waiting forever for the Reception to arrive ( please feel free to look at all of my previous posts of me complaining about Ivyskin in this very thread! ) the case is actually OK. I ended up letting my husband use it and he is pretty happy with it. Up until now he had been using an iphone Bumper, but was a little worried about leaving the back screen unprotected. So now he has a Decal Girl decal on the back, a BSE on the front and the Ivyskin Reception case. Watermarking is definitely an issue, but he does not have any creaks or groans, and the case fits well!

I ordered an Reception knock off for $3 off of eBay and I am just as happy and I have a table top lip on the front of mine. I did email Ivyskin and ask them refund my postage as they said they would. Not holding my breathe on that!

I'm suffering the same issues as most of you here. The case creaks and just doesn't fit correctly. I emailed Ivyskin asking about how to return the case for a refund and have not heard anything back from them. I used Google Checkout, and their return policy page says, "Google cannot approve returns or initiate refunds on behalf of the seller. Please contact the seller with your request." Anyone have any suggestions? Should I issue a dispute at my bank?

Send them another email and tell them you are giving them <xx> days to respond. If they don't, dispute it with your CC. You have to give them a fair chance to respond unlike what they would have done for you.

I heard back from PayPal and they denied my request, since the product shipped.

I've since contacted IvySkin to request an RNA and refund. That was 1.5 weeks ago and still haven't heard back from them. I sent another email yesterday.

BUYER BE *VERY* AWARE!!!

Sorry to hear that. I knew they would pull this kind of cr@p on people. They're probably going to try to ding you for a restocking fee now (they might go easy on you, wouldn't hurt to ask).

Your only other options for a full refund rely on Paypal. If you're not happy with the product because it was misrepresented you still have the option to file a claim on that basis.

What a horrible, horrible company. I can't believe they still have a website up accepting orders.

I ordered the reception case 7/7, they said it shipped 7/19 and should take 3-5 business days. Needless to say it never arrived.

They continually ignore emails, and do not answer the phone during business hours either.

I just filed my complaint formally with the BBB. I hope you guys have done that too. They need to be shut down.

Dispute it with your credit card company or PayPal for non-delivery. Don't even worry about them. If you wait too long your dispute time will run out. Worse case you'll eventually get it and if you do just either "return to sender" or keep it.

If I pay with paypal can't I just call my bank and claim fraud? Already escalated a claim with paypal but it takes way too long and I want my money back NOW.

still no refund but it seems the order has fially shipped, but I don't want this case it is not what I ordered.

EDIT: Huh, what a coincidence. I post that, then go check my mail and there's the package!

It's not a terrible case, but the material seems like something I could get for half the price on eBay. I haven't put it on entirely, my BSEs on the side doesn't allow for much wiggle room so it doesn't fit. I'm still deciding whether I should stick with the BSE film or take it off and use the case.

This company is SO horrible!

Here is the latest from the BBB:

Original BBB Complaint (7/31):
To whom it may concern: I pre-ordered an Ivyskin reception case for my iPhone on July 12th. Their site indicated the cases would be shipped on or before 7/19. On 7/19 I received an email indicating my order had shipped and provided a USPS tracking number. On 7/21, I clicked on the track number and was directed to USPS's site - the webpage indicated that the USPS had received notification that my package was going to ship, but hadn't received the item yet. After doing some online research regarding the company - it appears there are many of us in the same boat: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/971644/ Ivyskin is intentionally misleading consumers by taking orders, charging credit cards and not shipping products. It is now 7/31, and my tracking number still reflects the message - that the package hasn't been received. Please help. All correspondence to the company either indicate the items did indeed ship (which is false) or go unanswered.

Business' Response (8/23):
Hi: Sorry for the delay in shipping. This item was on backorder at the time of purchase. Order was delivered on 8/2/10. FedEx Tracking #: 9xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Regards
Ivyskin LLC.

My Response (8/23):
Myself as well as many others their case and were told by Ivyskin the cases where shipped on 7/21. Clearly that wasn't the case and the company intentionally falsified the shipping data on 7/19. Over the last 2-weeks I've attempted 3 times to contact Ivyskin to receive an RMA number for my order - since I do not care to do business with a company that treats its' customers in this manner. I still haven't received a response. This is a horrible question. If there is any doubt, please refer to this forum: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/971644/

IVYSKIN SUCKS!

Sorry for the delay in shipping. This item was on backorder at the time of purchase. Item was shipped out on 8/14/10 and was delivered. USPS Tracking #: LNxxxxxxUS.

So ivyskin now admit they are liars, the item was on backorder after all.

I still haven't received mine, and apparently I'll be charged a restocking fee and no shipping refund even though they changed the product in terms of the camera cutout with no prior warning.

I requested a refund and cancellation on Aug 2nd, if they now state my order was shipped 14th Aug, why did they not action this, instead of ignoring my emails even though I resent it several times.

pathetic
