Now if I can get past the creating backup.... Seems like it has been going for about 30 minutes. Patience I guess is the remedy, I'm almost there.

Ive been at this point about 30 minutes. I'm assuming it depends on how many files on ur phone. More files = More time.

Hi Guys, I tried the CLI JB and it failed at:

"cinject.exe -j payloads"

This was tried on a virgin 4S, with no SIM, and no WIFI connection. After correcting these, it worked first time!

yea, im on a non virgin 4S with 5.0, i had sim and wifi..still no dice.

I'm finally jailbroken! Went through without a hitch the first time using CLI. I did wipe all content and settings first and then restored after the jailbreak.

Not bad for a girl! LOL. Maybe all that ADB experience from my Android days was good for something after all.

I don't know. I didn't try. I figured it would take too long, so I just plugged back into iTunes and told it to restore from backup when it asked. Was back to normal (but now with Cydia) in about 5 minutes.
