Im guessing this is just because servers are getting slammed right now - but are others having issues adding repos or downloading files? I keep getting failed to fetch errors and whatnot.

Happens after every jailbreak release. Try to do most of your Cydia downloading during off-peak hours.

Maybe this is a totally noob comment because this is my first jailbreak (iPad) but none of my downloaded apps (dropbox, terra, twitter) will open. They open and immediately close. When I double-click the home button, it says they are running. Any insight?

I can't get SBSettings to install after trying multiple times, it's the only thing I've tried so far. I keep getting timeouts and different parts fail each time, this past time I got two "Host Unreachable" messages after sbsettingstoggles was done installing.

Mine's basically the same issue.

That's going to happen, at least right away and especially with how long we've been waiting for a jailbreak. The servers are going to be slammed for a little while.

I just installed SBSettings.

JBME 3.0 ran smoothly for a few hrs and then the iPad was suddenly thrown in to a boot loop. Couldn't rescue myself out of that one w/o DFU and a Restore

ipad2 jailbreak cck issue

camera connector is not working in ipad2, When i try mount manually from terminal with mount_hfs it does work, but not fat/msdos, looks like something is missing in fs, verified /System/Library/Filesystem and only hfs.fs is present. I am trying to find out where to get msdos.fs and how to install.

Anybody getting misaligned apps sometimes? I don't know if it's from a Cydia app or the jailbreak itself.

I know why retinapad doesn't work. If you have Winterboard installed, it will cause retinapad to crash every app it's influencing. It's a known issue and there's nothing that can be done, other than either keeping retinapad or Winterboard, but not both. Sucks, I know.

hope i dont get the boot loop i got that on my ipod touch and i ***** screamed couldnt use for 4 months so now i just restored it by dfu and only use it for songs..

Well I have a bug I suppose, since I can reproduce it every time.

I have an iPad 2, 32GB Wifi. It came with iOS 4.3.3. I went to jailbreakme and jailbroke it. Cydia installed in 10 seconds. Apps installs fine from cydia and if I go through iFunBox. But when I try to go on Appstore and download anything - ANYTHING at all, be it free or not - I get this message:

"Verification required- before you can make purchases, you must tap continue to sign in, then verify your payment info".

Well, I already had my info keyed in, but sure, I'll enter it again. I click OK (it's either that or Cancel) and Appstore pops up again, showing an empty window (looks like the iTunes agreement window) for a split second, then goes back to springboard and download is cancelled.

I've tried rebooting, respringing, turning off and on, same result EVERY time.

My info is correctly entered and works fine on my iPhone 4 and iPad 1, so that's not the problem. The only real difference here is another method of jailbreaking, so I am assuming that the jailbreak has a bug.

try to download a free app in appstore. then try running your app again

I have winterboard and retinapad and they both work for me...

The only thing Ive had so far is that theres an extra couple seconds delay when holding down on an app to bring up the wiggle/delete option, though that can happen on any jailbreak. Didnt have it on my touch.. probably have some new cydia app causing a problem.

And I must be imaging this or something because it makes no sense, but I could swear the click typing noise is like half the volume it used to be. I can barely hear it.

iPad 2 64GB 3G 4.3.3 install was quick and easy. So far only tried to insyall sbssetttings but unsuccessful. It also was giving me problems when trying to add sources, it was slow and some did not take.

So, if i understand it right it is either Retinapad or winterboard? Is this also the case with the iPad1 or only related to this jailbreak?

BUT can't get ifile to see my camera connection kit? is there some setting i should enable?

I got the same problem here!

JB iPad 2 3G (AT&T) and camera kit not working anymore.

From looking around other forums, the camera connection kit appears to be just flat out broken for everyone in this version of the jailbreak, nothing you can do other than wait for a fix. Well, or restore.

I've now successfully installed a ton of stuff including SBSettings, RetinaPad, and others. This is great, so easy.

Yeah Ive barely stopped installing or testing things for 8 hours. I'd probably keep going if I didnt have to take care of a few real life things for a bit.

Only problem I have is the significant delay when holding an icon to then move them around. Much moreso than Ive had in other jailbreaks, not sure if I have something in particular causing it.
