January 27" iMac Orders! (Those ordered in January)

I've been staring at the box for 45 minutes, hopefully it will be warmed up soon! Maybe I'll bust out the space heater...
Not a problem on the ram, I've got 32gb ready and waiting.
After a year or so with a fake mac, I finally sprung for a 27" 3.4 i7 with 1TB fusiondrive and 680MX.
I ordered it on january 20th and it just moved to preparing for shipment.
Original estimate for delivery was february 22-25, so it seems they are well ahead of schedule.
Btw, how do I change the colour on the spreadsheet?

Hi-light the line you want to change then choose the color from the pull down menu of the FILL COLOR option in the tool bar section.

Based on what you answered above and it shipped out Feb as the first shipping day. i t will be close. Earliest it could arrive would be Friday but I am thinking more than likely by Wednesday next week. Sweden is a long ways away.
DOH, I ordered mine on Jan 19, and still nothing...the only difference between our orders is that I opted for the standard 1TB drive (non-fusion). My estimate for delivery is still Feb 19-26.
I called and they said different configs come from different production lines so that is why I still have not received the Preparing For Shipment email... but it is a first in-first out system... They offered free upgraded shipping, but no superdrive...

mine too. i don't understand why such a long trip from shanghai to europe... alaska, kentucky, pennsylvania, france, germany...
I hope the box will be at least covered in stickers of every country it visited.

Seems like a lot of the i7 are being built as well, or maybe there's just a high proportion of ppl ordering the i7 on this forum so the results are skewed. I ordered my 27" January 18 and still nothing I'm in Australia too which may have something to do with it

Mine is in liege Europe hub now. Didn't get anything from apple either. They said that it was within the promised time frame, so they hadn't broken their part of the deal. No free SuperDrive or express shipping.
It seems like it is mostly US customers getting free stuff. I spoke with my normal voice, maybe I should have shouted and cussed

Mine arrived Oslo this morning. Will probably go out fit delivery tomorrow. Estimated date was 11th February, and was pushed to 12th on Tuesday. So anything can happen

Update: Some serious complaining and muttered threats of cancellation finally stirred some action. I found a helpful dealer staff member who made some 'phone calls and got back to me within the hour! (I'll get back to you... [yeah, yeah, yeah - heard that before] ) Within the hour! Crikey. Strewth. Corblimey. Gadzooks.
Turns out that my BTO was in Sydney and "could arrive some time early next week"... five hours later and I was able to collect it from the dealer in Melbourne. Someone, somewhere, got off their butts and remembered that old myth 'customer service'. Not to be too churlish about it, I am delighted that it finally came through.
Never underestimate the power of a good whinge.
I feel a bit sorry for the Mac specialist dealers. They are being shafted by Apple with Mac Store orders being given priority and the dealers having to wait without order deliveries or stock. This dealer didn't even have a 27 on display.
Nice looking box; I'll install the iMac tomorrow, and hopefully the long wait will be over.

The UPS-tracking has updated. It says planned delivery at Friday, 08.02.2013, Before the end of the day. So hopefully I will get it tomorrow.

I'm hoping my iMac will prepare to ship today since I ordered on Jan. 21! Anyone know what time it was (in China) when their order prepared to ship? Right now at 8:43 am (Eastern) it is 9:43 pm in China
Its in the country at least..MexicoCity to Guadalajara to go.
