I am happy for you man, but it seems like they are not following the queue correctly, or maybe it's country wise queue, because there are many 28th and 29th orders which have not been prepared even yet :(
I understand. Do they perhaps give priority to loyal customers? I registered all my apple products on my Apple ID. Otherwise I'm just very lucky.

That just might be it :p naaaaa, i am guessing that it all depends of the componenets availability of that order in the queue, guess they move on to the next one utill all components are there for that specific order, thats why its not really exact, 1 by 1.

Eventually, its allways good to pass time talking about it instad of refreshing the order page 10000 times a day :D

I think it would be luck. All my stuff's under my Apple ID and it was registered as an employee for 3 and a half years :(

If it's more than a few days I'm gonna ring them up and ask why.

Gee Dangit I ordered on the 30th as well but not until like 8pm central... what are your specs?

Also as a whole if we are posting status updates throw in order date and specs (yes I know theres the spreadsheet but that doesn't seem to be updated as much as this thread

The specs are 27" i7 3.4Ghz 1TB Fusion and 680MX with USB SuperDrive. Still preparing for shipment now.

I ordered Jan. 29th it went to SHIPPED!!!! Yesterday. :D

This is weird. I checked track my shipment. My imac was shipped from Newark Ca. ????? It doesn't bother me. I am getting it on FRIDAY!!!!!!! :D

I thought they were shipped from overseas......

It seems like the US orders have been receiving priority to a degree, or maybe it depends on which combination of specs ordered. Or maybe there's a little bit of luck.

Coming from someone who ordered Jan 18th and was seeing people's orders from Jan 25/26th go to preparing before mine did, I know the feeling. But mine is almost with me and I've forgotten about that already, so hang in there :p

Well this is depressing.

I ordered a day before you and I still have to wait another month (21 Mar) according to the tracker.

I Didn't wanna depress anyone though

It went to "shipped" on Saturday the 16th

and was foreseen like all the rest the 24th or something. I guess I got lucky.
This is a shipment to Belgium, don't know if that matters but it shouldn't.

Hope you guys get yours soon!!!

Ill keep you posted when it arrives

No, nobody gets priority from being a 'loyal customer'. ;) Things are shipped seemingly by country/continent since least a month ago nobody in the US had had any movement on theirs while EU were getting theirs and vice versa. But in the end, it's only Apple that knows how stuff is processed.

Ordered on 26th Jan and it's still processing!!!! :(

Just looked in the spreadsheet and someone's order placed on 1st Feb is preparing. Clearly this isn't done on a first come first serve basis.

To everyone who already has their iMac, I hope you are enjoying them and I look forward to receiving my first ever Mac! :D

Well according to the TNT online tracking my imac arrived in my local facility at 4am this morning, just called them hoping it would be out for delivery today but they said it won't be delivered until tomorrow. So close..

Ordered on the 28th and shipped out today with an estimated delivery of 2/22 (This Friday, location - California) :D seems like things are moving quicker now!

Yeah man, just saw the same update on the spreadsheet, and i am from europe as well so what the hack, unbelivible, my order from the 29th is still sitting there rock solid :(

Me too, I'm gonna give them a ring to ask what the hell is going on and why some people are getting theirs before me when the ordered 3/4 days after.

If you ring them, be sure to tell us their answer. I'm curious as well (all I got was "there are issues with stock, we're shipping them as fast as possible").

One would think that default iMacs rigs would ship faster than those with customization (Fusion Drive, i7, 680MX, ...), but apparently not.

I'm still 3 weeks away from the earliest possible delivery date for my order, while people that have ordered a couple of days later than me are getting theirs. This is some ****ed up business.

Ordered 6 weeks ago and still waiting

This is in Germany and the order is processed through a major reseller (HSD Munich).
Ordered Jan. 10., 2013
Apple iMac 27" 2,9 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5
1 TB Fusion Drive
Not even a delivery date yet.
