Ordered on the 22nd of January, it arrived on the 19th of February - a day earlier than the earliest date I was quoted. I'm in Australia. Guess I got lucky.

Mine was finally shipped yesterday (February 19th) :D

Ordered on January 30th, has been one day on preparing for shipment status.

I still don't have tracking information but it says that it will be delivered on March 1st. I think 9 days for delivery is a lot of time, maybe it's coming from The Moon.

I hope to receive it sooner...

Okay, just got off the phone with Apple.

The lady was actually surprisingly unhelpful. I have an estimated shipping date of between 20th-27th Feb and she kept saying that it is still expected to be delivered before the 27th.

As for the people with their iMacs changing status before me that ordered afterwards, she said she was shocked but she couldn't do anything about it unless she had a specific example. ( to be fair I don't see what she can do if they are shipping them as fast as they're being made as she said )

Is there any chance one of you guys in Europe (or better yet, UK) who has a 3.4 and 680MX on the way that ordered after 28th January could let me know your order ref number so I can show them that this is happening? At the very least they should be shown.

This is in Germany and the order is processed through a major reseller (HSD Munich).
Ordered Jan. 10., 2013
Apple iMac 27" 2,9 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5
1 TB Fusion Drive
Not even a delivery date yet.

Maybe you should go and have a chat with them - I ordered mine online from Apple directly on the 22nd of January, and it was just delivered (5 days earlier than originally planned).

Thanks for letting us know. Probably not much point in me calling them then. Looks like we've ordered the same spec iMac and are both located in the UK. We also have the same delivery date estimate. Maybe our iMacs will be shipped over together?

Resellers all over the world are being left out as Apple is sending their limited stock of iMacs directly to the customers that ordered from apple.com (and rightfully so, might I add).

So in theory, once the stock has caught up with the demand, resellers will start seeing their orders fulfilled.

I would hope so. If not, one of us is going to be mighty pissed off!

As soon as it says preparing, I'll let you know.

I am being a complete numberphile and getting the 32gb. It will be the first time I've ever had the best model of anything Apple haha.

I don't have the need for 32GB at the moment but may upgrade from 24GB to 32GB in the future.

I just spoke to Apple, he looked at my order and said "I'm not very surprised it's still in the processing stage. It could go from processing to preparing for shipment to shipped in less than one hour" and that it is still on track for delivery on or before the 27th.

He ignored the part about others having theirs ship before mine even though they ordered after.

Mine just went from Processing to Preparing. Since the estimated delivery date was starting tomorrow, it made sense to me that it hit preparing today.

Well I'm a HEAVY InDesign and Photoshop user, and will be getting into video editing over the next few months, so 32gb can't hurt.

I might just hand over this thread as proof that this queue thing just isn't happening.

No worries, I understand. It was frustrating seeing people order after me either receive or have the order prepare before mine did.

It's here! Mine arrived just minutes ago.

3.2 GHz i5
16GB RAM
768GB Flash Storage
675MX
Magic Mouse + Magic Trackpad

January 28 - Ordered
February 15 - Called Apple. Asked about the price drop of the Flash Storage. Got a $469 refund.
February 16 - Called Apple and asked a few questions about the Specs. Didn't even talk to them about delivery time, but they told me they would up the delivery by 3 days.
February 18 - Preparing For Shipment
February 19 - Shipped (From China)
February 20 - Delivered (to Iowa, USA) a few days early!

I haven't even opened the box yet. It was 10 degrees outside, so I think I will let it sit for an hour before I do the "unboxing".

Mine shipped out from Newmark apparently, and should be here tomorrow! Departed from Sacramento at 8:20am this morning, so close but so far away... Tomorrow though :D

I've just been thinking, maybe ours are coming from Ireland? That would explain why they are leaving it so late. It would only be 1-2 days delivery.

Or maybe I'm just kidding myself :(

Just moved to shipped. It's coming from San Jose, CA and will be delivered tomorrow. :D

Did yours ever show any movement in China? If not, I'm curious if it will be labeled "Assembled in USA". I would love to get an iMac that was Assembled in the US.

My credit card just got charged so I'm hoping to get to preparing soon.

Awesome after your credit card run around that yours is finally on its way!

Nope. Went from preparing this morning to shipped this afternoon. I was very surprised to see that it was picking up in San Jose. The first thing I will be looking at tomorrow is to see if it says Assembled in USA. Tomorrow is going to be an extremely long day at work.

Something is going on with the orders, it cannot be that people with a few days ahead of others are getting their orders shipped!!! and its not following any rule, becasue its not related to , USA ro Europe, or anything, its mixed, so what is going on Apple?

ordered on the 22nd of Jan. Still processing. It just changed to 4-6 instead of 3-4. I seriously can't believe it takes this long to make a computer.

California?

Ordered 1/30. Prepared and shipped today from California? Thats cool. American made, right? Comes tomorrow with free overnight!

Excited.
