If they do announce iLife 2010 will it come preinstalled on refurbished Macs or only on new ones?
How quickly we forget... The new iMac showed up the morning after the last quarterly report. That was the impetus behind all of the wording in the release and subsequent questions about tighter gross margins and increased shipping costs.
Finally getting a MBP and was supposed to happen this week through work, but have been considering putting it off until after the event to see what the update is. I don't need an i5 and so have been going back and forth and was settled to just get it. If I do get one and there is an iLife or iWork update the following week what is Apple's policy on getting the new software? I know with snow leopard you could get it for $5 if you bought a Mac with leopard within a month or so. Is that the case for the iSuites?
I think the new iLife is going to come with a graphics program. Got that from the paint splatter on the invite.![]()
iLife X will be an integral part of the device so it will probably be shown along with the device and ship along with the device.
It would be nice to see a basic image manipulation app included in iWork. It seems silly to have to go into pages or keynote to do that fancy alpha-select thing.
Yes. Full multi-touch office applications.
The question isn't "is Apple releasing a tablet?" it's "what is the functionality that will make it stand out from the netbooks?" Full multi-touch apps will be part of answering that question, I think.
I love how FoxNews has become are trusted source in Apple Rumors.
While the predictions don't seem that unlikely. It is odd that FoxNews had suddenly emerged as a leading source...
In the words of miles01110, "first time for everything."
They are trying to compete with CNBC who generally has a leg up with Apple news.
