Mine was slated for delivery after October 6th. It's now being shipped, however, I just received notice that there has been a "mechanical failure" and the package will be delayed. :(

My guess is that for those of us who are still in processing they release these in batches so everyone that shifted to shipping was in that last batch. Another bunch of us should see something either late this week or early next.... Fingers crossed. Im in that Oct 18-31st group (damn you Apple store errors)

Yikes! Sixstring, may I ask who sent that notification? Was that from UPS? Apple?

My Verizon preorder shows 9/23 as the expected ship date. It's still processing...

I chatted with someone at Apple and she assured me it would be delivered tomorrow. I do hope its already on the way, otherwise Korea to Texas is a long way in 1 day ha

That's so weird, apple gave me an estimated shipping date of 9/23 but right now my phone is still in Incheon too. Hopefully she's right though!

I'm guessing our UPS tracking will keep showing Incheon until our phone boxes are scanned again when they land in the good 'ole USA. Hopefully we all get a shipping update soon. The anticipation is killing me!

What is weird is that I got a text from UPS saying my item is being delivered today between 1 and 5 pm (I subscribe to UPS MyChoice) but the tracking info still shows Korea. Strange!

Well never mind, so I called UPS International team, and he said that entire shipment from Apple has not cleared customs and they don't expect it to until next week. Wonderful information.

EDIT TO ADD: he also said that the package is not in Korea, he isn't sure why it says that, but it fact it is still sitting in China...

Good grief. Ugh. Thanks for letting us know.

What is up with Apple and UPS giving us two totally conflicting answers? First it was the shipping date that differed between them, now it's in regards to where our phones are. There was another user on this forum that spoke to an apple representative and she assured him that the phones were already in the US and that the UPS hasn't updated yet.

This was for the iPhones that had a shipping date of 9/23.

I wonder how Apple could even know that?

That chat looks to be with a MacRumors rep, not an official Apple rep, correct?

Imagine in the next week Apple goes ahead and announces the cancellation of the Jet Black color and we all end up just getting regular iPhone 7s in Rose Gold with a $50 apple gift card? Loooooooooooooooool!

As messed up as this is...... I'm not surprised UPS is the worst. They always screw up my shipments

Just to give you JB folks some hope ... my 7+ 128 Gold was scheduled for 10/5 as per Verizon. Last night it went into processing, and I just got informed it's shipping today due to arrive Monday. Though oddly, picked up by FedEx in Memphis. Oh well.

Both of my preorders have or will ship earlier than a week before the initial given date - so don't lose hope!

My UPS tracking just updated to this:

"Incheon, Korea, Republic of 09/23/2016 5:58 A.M. Severe weather conditions have delayed delivery."

What the heck is going on?! What's the real story? We're all reading many different and possible reasons for the shipping delays... Korea shouldn't have been involved as a shipping destination, mechanical issues, shipments should arrive tomorrow, and now severe weather delays. What's next?

I'm hoping my iPhone 7+ Matte Black 128GB with an expected ship date of 10/18-10/25

ordered thru AT&T will be updated by the end of this week. This will right the wrongs that T-Mobile did to me :) I ordered pretty late though...9/13.

Not sure what is going on but this so far is not turning out to well for a successful iPhone launch.
