Jet Black iPhone 7 Plus Pre-Orders Shipping Sooner Than Expected

My UPS tracking updated again late last night, at 10:39p ET stating the phone had departed Korea so it looks like they're moving again. I'm guessing next stop is Alaska then Kentucky. I'm located in Atlanta.

When I look at my Apple account, it shows the estimated delivery to be today, 9/23. I'm not too optimistic that'll happen.

*UPDATE - UPS tracking now shows that the phone has departed Chek Lap Kok, Hong Kong at 7:28p (local Hong Kong time) so now it's traveling in the opposite direction. Nice.

Yeah, tell me about it. When I got my iPhone 6 Plus 2 years ago it got stuck in Kentucky for almost a week with no movement. Calling UPS to track it / get more information I found out it had trouble clearing customs.

My UPS Scheduled Delivery Date still states "Scheduled delivery information is not available at this time. Please check back later.".

My Apple Estimated Delivery still shows "September 23, 2016".

Oh, yes. Correct. It changed from "Preparing for shipment" to "Shipped" early Monday morning (and my credit card got hit with the cost of the phone at the same time the status changed).
 
Mine just changed from Processing to preparing for shipment!!!

I'm still in the 10/18-10/31 processing stage too with no updates, ordered 10 minutes after only because the website wouldn't load.

I do not get what is going on? My estimated delivery date is oct 4-10 and I'm still in the processing stage! I feel like I'm getting skipped a lot! Apple! You got some splaining to do! Ricky Ricardo style! Lol!

Mine is still processing too delivery Oct 5th-12.Pretty confusing how apple works
 
My 7 Plus with literally the exact same specs as below also just moved into Preparing for Shipment. Exciting!!

My order for the 128GB JB 7+ through T-Mobile's website was confirmed at 12:04 AM and I was given a estimated shipping timeframe of 9/19-9/26. My est ship dates haven't changed, but neither has my "Being Processed" status.

The T-Mobile chat rep said it will be delivered on or before 9/26 which I find hard to believe considering my CC hasn't even been charged. No complaints here, just wanted to share with other TMo users. Not gonna lie though, I can't wait to get that "order shipped" text!

I did that like a week ago but they were not helpful so i'm not even considering calling them.I just wish they would update us on the whole situation!!!Lucky that we have this forum to keep us all updated.

At least you are seeing dates, at least as estimates. Now my 11th of November phone delivery has been changed to "Delayed" and no date listed, but this is through my carrier here in Australia (Telstra)

Yeah man very true. But can you believe that today marks the two week anniversary of the preorder night and here we all are scratching our heads as to why we don't have our iPhones yet! This is the worst launch ever!
 
Those of you who have had your window improve, what was the timeframe? My JB 7+ 256 just went from "processing" to "preparing for shipment" but my window is still late October. How long between "preparing" and actual shipment?

Good question for those who have seen theirs ship recently. I am in the same boat as you at preparing to ship.
 
Mine is in the November 28-Dec 5th window (AT&T, 128gb) , I hope I'm not waiting two more months.

Mine has shipped and still quotes late October.
 
As nice as the Jet Black is, you have to get that thing into a case and screen protector immediately. So many people will have trouble maintaining it as "mint" for 2017 resales.
