Not every time. When Apple dropped Firewire from the 13" Macbook there was a loud enough outcry that seven months later they produced a redesigned version with FW and called it a Macbook Pro.

Well I certainly read a lot of speculation there, and so far not much in the way of actual information.
 
Just got off the phone with support.

They asked if I was wearing shoes.

They also said as of this morning they aren't allowed to give out free bumpers.

California is a two party state in terms of recording.

Just recording the phone call was illegal. So you should probably delete it, and any trace of actually having it. Not only can you not share it, you can not make it in the first place without getting permission of the party you were talking to before you started recording.

They are most likely recording you so why shouldn't you record them?

So yes, share the video/audio! :)

This isn't good news to us LEFTIES! How does is this fair?
Apple should provide us those bumpers for free, they KNEW this was a major design flaw...Hence the push for the dumb bumpers!

I don't know if it's illegal or not, but why even take a chance? Don't upload it.
 
Better yet, call them again, and this time Usteam it and link it to us, that way it's not being recorded! :D Brilliant!

Is a verbatim transcript of the recording equally illegal?
 
I'm not going to take the chances I guess. Usually I would, and I wouldn't see a problem in doing it, but meh, this is 2010 and the internet...

Here is part of our conversation:

"It seems like uh the shoes and the socks for some reason, it actually inhibits the calls for some reason, what they are thinking it actually is, is some kind of electrical frequency that the phones arent actually entirely grounded, so once you actually touch the black portion around the screen, it will actually lower the bars enough to drop your call"
