Butterfly keyboards are not reliable and have had to have replacement programs on every model. Scissor switch existed for decades without such a program.There's never been any proof that scissor switch keys are "more reliable" than butterfly switch.
Yes, they could do that, but I think that Apple would do a simple refresh of specs, or change the design. I guess we will see in the next couple of hours what happens.They might change the keyboard without increasing screen size...
I bet Apple's gonna pull a 2020 MacBook Air refresh for the Pro.
Same design, just a newer keyboard and internals.
