If it’s still a 13”, does that mean a 14” could come later this year or 2021?

I need to see the Apple announcement.

Bought my "13 Macbook Pro last year and it's been great. 3rd gen butterfly keys have been working out for me. That said, if this goes 14 inches I'll be jelly...

Sold my 13" 2019 on Ebay yesterday and just literally posted it to the buyer 20 mins ago, that is what I call timing!

Listed now on the purchase page for the 13" Pro - no store down time this time lol! Both types were kept, and 16GB base RAM for the higher tier model :)

The new 14-inch MacBook Pro is also expected to feature soldered RAM and soldered SSD what makes any fix or upgrade impossible. Hell yeah!!!
We only have one planet - waste it with useless hardware! Don't fix, just throw away!! This is the way to go... </irony>
Dry your eyes mate

What I really want - a 14” MBP with an eGPU option. I know it is super unlikely, but we already have the MBA for the people that want size/weight constrained. Obviously it’d have to be a much cooler running GPU than the 16”, but just having the ability to push the graphics a little bit further on the more portable machine would be nice.

Magic keyboard and 10th gen processors for sure.

I'm hoping Apple will cut the price and increase the storage on the base model, like they did for the Air last month.

Maybe today's (fingers crossed) announcement will replace the low-end 2019 13" Pro and Apple is saving the 14" Pro with new display tech to replace the high-end 2019 13" Pro?

This definitely seems legit. I just tried ordering the current 13” MBP and it keeps looping me back to the “select your MacBook” page whenever I click on an option. Scissor switch refresh, come at me 🤩

Its up!!! Only the 1799 models though

EDIT: Looking at the pics it seems all models have an esc key and touch id button now

Apple Is burning millions of dollars on the replacement program; $700 for every keyboard replaced. That is the proof any logical person needs.
Wow, really? How the flip can it cost them $700 for each keyboard? That's probably more than they pay for hardware of the low-end macbooks?

It’s here!!!

New models are live on the Apple online store.

Be careful - the lower-end models still have the 8th generation processors.

Apple isn't paying $700 per computer to replace the top case, but obviously it's still expensive for them to warranty all those affected computers for 4 years. $700 is about the retail price for a top case replacement.

I was wrong. Apple updated the 13" model with the magic keyboard..

Anyway, my 2018 Mbp is still great and has 2,7Ghz i7 CPU, which none of the new configurations is offering. Somehow I thing that my MBP is better (apart from the keyboard)..

Worst spec ever with the price

2.0GHz Quad-Core Processor with Turbo Boost up to 3.8GHz
512 GB Storage
Touch Bar and Touch ID

  • 2.0GHz quad-core 10th-generation Intel Core i5 processor
  • Turbo Boost up to 3.8GHz
  • Intel Iris Plus Graphics
  • 16GB 3733MHz LPDDR4X memory
  • 512GB SSD storage¹
  • 13-inch Retina display with True Tone
  • Magic Keyboard
  • Touch Bar and Touch ID
  • Four Thunderbolt 3 ports

Indeed, not that impressed although, it is better than the previous spec at the same price. More disappointed that they did not bump the screen up to 14", I won't be buying one.
