The hostility towards Ive is weird. Even MacRumors itself engages in it by using that intentionally awful photo of him. How insulting and unnecessary.
it's quite strange. Like it or not a lot of apple's success was due to this man.

Yet macrumors honors him by finding a photo depicting him as an old lost man?

You never see these unflattering photos of tim cook posted on the site.

Macrumors could you post this on a future article on tim cooke please?

I can help MacRumors achieve a more balanced editorial stance. Here’s an equally flattering picture of Tim Cook. I wonder why MacRumors didn’t use this one when the Vision launched?

I wonder if Ive's greatest work is forever behind him, now that he doesn't have Steve Jobs to keep him focused. I guess we'll find out. I wonder if the new AI device will be made of alumineeum, or whether it will be unapologetically plastic.
Focus on what? A rectangular slab that looks roughly the same every year with a slightly better camera? I’m not sold on Vision Pro as the next big thing but I’m sure those who work on the project enjoy doing something other than incremental changes to mature products.

Just capturing the ppl who are willing to is a massive win. Not everyone wears a watch
I wouldn’t want to wear either. I would prefer a small light-weight pocketable device you can optionally attach to your clothes.

But again, if you need another device for on-screen apps anyway, which also has a mic and can perform AI duties, I don’t see much attraction of an AI-only device.

Sure, there will always be people who will like it for some reason, but I don’t think a niche product is what Sam Altman is aiming for.
