Jony Ive's design team has created a one-of-a-kind 12.9-inch iPad Pro, iPad Pro Smart Cover, and Apple Pencil holder that will be auctioned off as part of a fundraiser for the London Design Museum, reports Wallpaper.

The iPad Pro has been anodized with a bright yellow dye, making it unique among Apple's standard color lineup of Space Gray, Silver, Gold, and Rose Gold. Compared to the Gold iPad Pro, it's a much brighter, more vibrant shade of yellow.

Accompanying the yellow iPad Pro is Smart Cover made from a blue French leather and an Apple Pencil ensconced in an orange Italian calf leather case. According to the auction listing, the iPad Pro's back and the Smart Cover are etched with the words "Edition 1 of 1."

The iPad Pro has an estimated value of GBP10,000 - 15,000, the amount it is expected to fetch at auction. It will be available to bid on starting on April 28.

Apple has donated specially designed items for charity auctions several times in the past, with Jony Ive creating a red Mac Pro and solid gold EarPods, among other items.

Now available in Exclusive Apple Colour, Piss-Yellow.

Another Jony Ive triumph! From the man who brought you the iPhone that bends, the iOS that you can't decipher, and the MacOS that has alienated fans worldwide. Yes, keep up the good job, Jony!

Okay finally someone in this thread.

I kept getting more frustrated reading "eww just ugly, stupid lolz" hoping I could not be the only person who frequents this site older than 14.

This is actually a very good colour scheme, I am no expert but I see a good colour pattern there. I believe the designer term is the colours are negative to each other. Each go nicely against the other in layman terms.

Blue and Orange are complimentary colors. Blue and Yellow are negative colors. Not sure what yellow and orange are considered...

Well...what do you know! Jony Ive, who thought he was the S*** in design department, happened to make a special edition for kids Paddington Bear Edition!th.jpeg

I really need to talk to this guy..mono to mono.
Has he been suppressing his feeling for Mr. paddington Bear?

Now I do not believe Mr Ive suggested anything radical or brilliant, I am sure the blue, orange, pale yellow combination has been done before. Though I do feel it is a nice colour combination that brings a feeling of easygoing and comfortable, I can truly see where Ive was coming from and believe he continues to know what he is doing.

But maybe I am just not on the same level of super major captain expert on the subject as the naysayers.

I wholeheartedly disagree. Why such hate?

I wouldn't know the exact terms either, but yeah, I've seen this pairing before too, but it was on clothes/accessories which I thought were nice. I wouldn't take a car in that yellow color though.

IMO, the Paul Smith table is the best in that lot.

So, it's just a regular iPad that's been painted yellow. Anyone can make their iPad a one of a kind edition with a can of spray paint and some patience.

Somewhat disappointing that they didn't do a one-of-a-kind Retina MacBook in a slightly yellowish version of that orange colour. Was looking forward to calling it the "Mac 'n Cheese Edition".

Why not make it out of real 'Apple Watch' gold. Set the starting price at $250,000. And watch the uber rich bod that crap out of it. Lots of rich would love to have the only gold iPad.

Wife just had a fender bender with my car. It was like any other car. Now it's unique.

You all should just settle down. It something that will benefit a CHARITY, NON-PROFIT organization. I don't remember people flipping out this much and complaining about the custom red Mac Pro that fetched a cool $977k. The appeal of the item isn't how "awesome or great" the colors look, its value is more associated with the fact that Jony Ive and his award winning team spent time designing that exact iPad. Of course other individuals could go buy an iPad and get it customized to look similar, but it wouldn't carry the same value or appeal.

As long as it is benefitting a charity or underfunded project/program, who are we to sit here and criticize the freaking color of the damn thing if it can raise an easy $20k to benefit others.
