I think many are being too quick to dismiss just how much you can learn from an avatar. It can tell you a person's political affiliations, their sense of humour, what they do for a living, and much more. My avatar is of H.E.L.P.eR. from the Venture Bros., and that can tell you about my sense of humour and you can get a pretty good idea of other things I may like/dislike. My previous avatar demonstrated a taste for irony and nostalgia, and before that Canadian literature and graphic novels.
Sometimes I consider changing my avatar to be about something I have no idea about, like a character from a television show I've never heard of.

Well I do, a little too often, use avatars to realize who I'm talking to. I'm getting better at paying attention to names, but sometimes I can't.
I like those who have avatars that relate to the Usernames... Like Dr. Q, who almost always has a 'Q' somewhere in his avatar. I used just used my symbol, my symbol on a roadway, like it was painted there, a M-21 (Michigan Highway) sign, my School's Seal, my School's Abstract Mascot, some animated GIF I can't even remember, and now I useTōshirō Hutsugaya squad 10 Captain of the 13 Court Guard Squads from Bleach. He was also a child prodigy, somewhat like me, although his skill was with a sword, and mine was with computers.

Sometimes rdowns' avatar arouses me, then I realize that no one's legs should ever be that shiny.

My legs are shaved and I am a guy but they are not that shiny. I do not go that "far". 😛

Seriously though, I mean I've seen a fair share of shaven legs, sorry kabunaru all of them women 😛, But shiny like that no.. It looks like a polished mannequin.

actually, I don't play, more of a lax/soccer/ski guy. I do however, love to watch football and devin hester is just the man. I really like the genius avatar though. I wish I had thought of that.

Even then! Well then again I don't go looking for freshly shaven legs to take a picture of...
I am not saying they are weird, just I find it uncommon especially with the group of friends I have. None of them are body builders or anything like that so they don't shave their legs lol
