I'm at 2360 of 3350 Exercise Minutes for the July Challenge . Been doubling down on the exercise bike indoors to push it...As a new week starts I've been thinking of whether to 'charge' to the finish or meter down to see what kind of Challenge is offered for August. Whichever I decide I'll try to stick with to see if , as someone posted awhile ago, a slower finish leads to a more 'realistic' August Challenge.

Glad mines easy (for me) as this heat makes it so hard. Did a 2 mile run at 6:15 am as it was already too hot in the garage for the cross trainer.
I have started doing some runs first thing, before I go into the office, since I can definitely get in a run then. And I do notice the (relatively) nicer temperature and humidity then.

I just suck it up and run in the heat and humidity in the late afternoon. I’m a masochist 😂. You do get used to it though after a few times.

Same here - after running in South Carolina and Florida when I was younger, I have gotten used to the heat and humidity.

Nowadays I do a bit of both - I run in the morning on days I have to go into the office, and run in the afternoon on days I work from home.

Did my morning run. Skipped the lunchtime walk (too hot). Will go for a walk or run later.
Will probably do an afternoon walk today...1:15 and only 84℉ with all clouds and a slight breeze. Low humidity. Best afternoon in weeks! Did a small walk yesterday evening under pretty much the same conditions. If only it were to last....but, August is coming!

I got a mile run in before dinner. It was too hot to go any further.

Ok, as stated above, I got a late start this month, putting myself behind the 8 ball so to speak. Was making good progress til last weekend when we took a road trip.

Month would have begun at 70 minutes needed per day. By the time I checked the goal and got dialed in, it was up to 79 I believe.

Got going on it and had it down to 71 again before this past weekend’s road trip that bumped it up again. I’m back down to 71 minutes per day needed on average.

I’m gonna get this one done, someway somehow!! Just gotta keep my normal routines up which will get me about 106 per day on weekdays. Weekends are a little more of a challenge for me, but if I hunker down and make sure I get out there for my regular 60 minutes on the elliptical on Saturdays, and then do something extra, I should make it.
