I’ve lost over a stone and am actually at my correct weigh for the first time in my life.
I went from wearing pants with a 34" waist to a 32" waist last year, thanks to all the running I did. And those 32" waist size pants will probably start to feel a little loose later this year. I hope. :)🏃‍♂️

Yeah, maybe OCD or maybe anxiety, or maybe too Type A. I'm the same way. I don't particularly like this trait of mine. So maybe in a year I'll ditch my AW because it's running my life.
I hope it doesn't come to that. :)

But I do understand. Maybe about 10 years ago the company I worked for, or at least the division I was in, gave us free entry level FitBits to help motivate people t exercise (and lower insurance costs). These were the ones that only count steps.

I found myself cutting my evening set on the bicycle machine early because I had met the step goal. Once I realized what I was doing I stopped that behavior, and after the competition was over that I participated in a stopped wearing the FitBit.

So I think having done that before has helped me be "OK" with not getting my rings on a given day. But I still like to get the rings, and I understand why others want to get all the rings.

I’ve got 38” from about 4-5 years back that I’ve mostly got rid of.
36” I can get by with a belt.
34” that depending on style need a belt or are okay.

Isn’t the point of the rings about forming good habits though? That’s how I see it. Less sitting. More moving. I’ve lost over a stone and am actually at my correct weigh for the first time in my life.

That's probably why I have a 600+ day streak, because I have formed a habit around it. The Challenges do feel like a chore sometimes though.

One thing that I’ve done with my watch is turn off the “coaching” notifications. It drove me crazy that if I was the least behind with activity for a particular day, it would pester me. It was especially irritating that sometimes it would bug me as soon as I put it on my wrist, first thing in the morning, before I even had a chance to do anything. Something is off for with the algorithm for the watch, if it cant figure out that you had just gotten up.

I still leave other notifications on, such as when those that I get when I close rings, or the breathe reminders.

I too turned it off. When it said I should be further along in my move goal than I am when I just woke up, that's like the watch being a bit of a bully and I don't need that to start the day.

I usually workout in the evenings during the week and in the morning on the weekends. I hate when I see that on Monday morning. Like sheesh, settle down there Apple Watch, I'll get to my workout.

I’m pretty much the exact opposite. Mornings in the week. Anytime on a weekend (but rarely before breakfast like in the week).
Normal routine is.
35 minutes cross trainer session first thing.
45 minutes lunchtime walk.
another walk of quick run in the evening time permitting.

Not going to make this months challenge but got this today

It will be a long time before I get to 2000 move goals.

And this month's challenge will be tough for me as well - if I get in long runs for the remaining weekend days (which I want to do regardless of monthly challenge) then it will be close.
Well, I have had an AW for a while ;)
I just wish Apple would report this in years/month vs days - beyond a month or 2 I just have no idea and of course I do know that 1 year has 365 or 366 days…

I’ve had my AW for a little over 2 years, so it’ll take ages to get to 2000 move goals. I had a Garmin watch prior to this one, but the AW is miles better. (Series 4)

Think of it like the Spinal Tap move - instead of the speakers going to 11, your number of move goals goes up to 2000 (as opposed to about 5 years and 6 months). 🤪
