I don’t run much either because of the impact on my knees. Mostly walking and cross trainer for my exercise.
Yea, luckily my knees aren’t bothering me at presence…
I also think/know that my actual walking distance if off, part of my cycling involves upper body exercise/arm moving/swinging and the watch counts it as steps, not sure how much but it does…

At least my joints aren’t carrying around what they were 6 years ago. I’m two thirds the man I used to be.

Coming down to the wire for me. My June goal is 316.9 miles and I am at 313.9. As long as it isn't raining or just a light rain when I get home from work, then I will get this one.

so you prioritize this over participating in the association game? hmmmh 🙀 🙀:p

Even in the rain, you can do it. Come on think of the shame if you don't make it!
Yeah, as long as it wasn't a downpour I was going out to run.

But the rain only came through in the early afternoon, while I was still at work. So I was able to get in my evening run. 🏃‍♂️

I will have you know I am a person of many talents. I can post stuff in the Photo Association Game _and_ get in my exercise.

Yeah baby! Yeah! 🤪

My July goal is to close all three rings on all 31 days. It’s doable, but the watch is still a bit of a “Scrooge” in not allowing one, single day off.

It still beats my June challenge of just under 7,000 exercise minutes, which was quite ridiculous. Needless to say, I didn’t meet that one.

After 4 months of hammering perfect months and month challenges, I'm taking a break.. Just reading this challenge exhausts me..o_O
Good luck to everyone this month and keep on keeping on!
Wow! I have 3350 min. for my July Challenge! Ridiculous. What kind of 'Coach' doubles or triples a goal? Why not 10 or 20 percent increments? Apples algo was not very well thought out ( as lots of us have Found Out!). Also, they don't seem to be aware outside of the 'Campus' that the population consists of many different 'age' and 'health' groups. I understand your frustration...just continue as you were prior to the watch and its 'challenges'!!!!

From what I've seen, they usually take what you have done in the prior month, and have you extend just a bit, but rotating through the various goals. If last month your goal was to walk 30 km, but you were active for 30 minutes a day, next month you might be asked to be active for 35 minutes a day.

Well..if thats the case it sounds somewhat defeating! Esp when the goal is day based and doesn't allow for 'rain' or 'sickness' or 'travel' etc. A constant increase is great for investment returns but for exercise challenges?????

Yes, and I've been saying for years Apple really need to incorporate some kind of rest day feature. Your body needs rest days.
