I'd assume not. I want to see neither company be guilty. Although I do think Samsung infringed Apple trade dress in the UI. Unfortunately no verdict can force a review of our patent system.

I'm still on the fence on the UI. I just wish Google made the manufacturers use stock UI.

I don't see how any sane jury can't come to the same conclusion as the South Korean courts did. Which would be a bad thing for both side, but ultimately good for the consumer, as it will show that litigation is not the solution.

Ah ok. Then, it's plenty likely that both companies won some of the claims. It could easily be a "tie."

Both sides have also set up appeals already. Samsung was denied quite a few motions quite unfairly by Judge Grewall that reviewed the discovery process. Even Koh had to concede as much in a 100 page decision she rendered this week for jury instruction.

No matter what gets decided today, I have a feeling we're heading into appeals, heck, both sides will probably try to appeal some of the multiple decisions. This has been a farce since the beginning, and at this point, it covers devices that are no longer on the market really.
