Does this case add any grip to the 6 Plus? As you all know, this phone is very slipperly without a case. Thanks

Yes it does but it can still be slippery. I think the silicone offers a slight bit more grip.

100%. The leather case is very grippy yet not slippery or a dust-collector like the silicone version. I recommend it highly.

Ironic that we all are falling over you and your nickname is BJ!!!

Pity then your nickname is Dan.

Anyone else having the issue where the bottom right edge keeps popping out?

Has anyone had any experience with Chinese/eBay leather cases? This one looks promising and is a fraction of the price of the official Apple Leather Case.

I own an original brown Apple Leather Case and it's beautiful but can't come around to spending the same amount again for my partner. She isn't as fussy anyway, she just wants a decent'ish leather case that looks like mine.

Thank you for the kind words. How much shall I pay you?

You already did. Against my better judgment I am leaning toward getting a 6+. I have been using a 5 with an Atelier wallet case and love the combination but a similar combination won't work for the 6+. So I am considering an Apple leather cover. A good photo really helps.

...ah me old mate meistervu with the old Atelier Pall wallet/case combo - I remember your pics for the iPhone 5 version, it looked awsome!

No iPhone 6 version yet I take it?!

Possibly my favorite member. Lol.

I think there is a iPhone 6 version, and I would consider it if I go with the iPhone 6. I lover the Atelier Pall wallet/case combo. I use it everyday and it looks as good today as it did when the iP5 came out.

But the 6+ is a bit for the combo even if they make a wallet for it, I think.

My black leather case from Apple has begun to show wear. At the top it got scuff and some white marks - maybe because the leather is being rubbed of when I put the iPhone in my pocket. Otherwise it's great, but the leather really doesn't hold if you'll constantly put it in and out of jeans pockets. And I did treat the case with leather conditioner before using it

This is why I'm going cheap TPU (Diztronic). I like the look of the leather but it marks way too easy. For 50 bucks it's too much.

That's unfortunate. How long have you had it? Can you post a picture?

I've just bought a brown leather case on Ebay, but it doesn't look right.
The texture doesn't seem leathery, and the logo isn't crisp.
Do you think it's a fake?

and a brown image I found at the start of this thread

While I can't say whether it's a fake or not, my brown Apple leather case (bought from the Apple Store) looks like your picture. My logo is not very crisp either.

Why are you recycling the SAME photos OVER, and OVER? Yes, we get it, you have money, a big house, nice car, trophy wife.. blah, blah, blah...Why keep slamming it in our faces???? :)

BTW, love your life..

yeah this dude is a total douche. wish i had his address, id rob him.

It's hard to say if it's fake or not. Personally, I just think it's the lighting playing a trick on you. See my pics to see what I mean. It's the same case, just with the light hitting it in a different way.

Edit: I couldn't attach two pictures at first in my original post. I figured it out. Mods can delete this comment if they see it.

I've got $50 in T-Mobile credit through the refer-a-friend program that can only be used on accessories or devices. I don't need another device, but T-Mo does have some of the Apple leather cases for sale. Unfortunately, they don't have brown, which is my first choice for a gold iPhone, but they have blue and red. Between those two, which do you guys think I should go for? I think red and gold could give it a nice hot rod/Iron Man contrast (although the silicone would be better for this since it's more vivid but I have issues with the silicone cases), whereas the blue might be nice to cool down the look and mute some of the loudness of the gold should I want that once in a while.

Any thoughts or recommendations? I'm a little wary of the red also because I'm not totally sold on how well it wears over time.

Midnight blue. It's really sharp with the gold iphone

Apple leather case:
Sleek, nice feel dark colors show less dirt ,not slippery. Keep in mind that While Apples leather case offers some protection its not the ultimate protector

Thanks! I just discovered that they don't let me use the cards on online orders though, which means I'd have to find a retail store that stocks the leather cases. The retail stores are hilariously sparse, although oddly some of them carry items not on the website.
