Just Got My White Glass Backplate For My iPhone 4

Yeah, thats quite a bit different than the picture on the auction.

Just a follow-up. I emailed the seller and he was very cordial about the issue and seemed like he wanted to rectify the situation and requested pictures.

I posted them up on Flickr and he replied that he is out on some National Festival and will be back on the 8th to look into it further.

I'm in no rush, but I was firm to tell him that I only purchased from his auction because of the photos and that what I received is basically useless if you ever want to use the flash.

That link to the camera ring is interesting. If I could get them to mail one or a replacement housing with one installed, I'd accept that.

I'll keep you all posted.

Keep us posted. I just received my white back from the same seller and have the same issue.
 
So i sent a message to the seller and he asked me to send him pictures to show him what was wrong.

Nice! Knew it was too good to be true. Thats OK as eBay keeps the actual auction and pictures from your actual sale archived so he'll lose a dispute. Still have not gotten mine yet either.

what a dodgy buyer, got the same backplate as that but wasnt that pic before...whats more my one has faint scratches on the back so im saying it isnt really glass or cheap glass.... told the seller, waiting for his reply...
 
It's hard to trust most eBay listings. Sad....

I am going to wait for Apple to come out with it.
 
So after sending the pics, I got this reply:

Have a nice day,thanks for your message and your picture,we got it,friend,we'll report this to them.and we can refund or reship it,would you pls return it to us?we can return to the factory ,sorry for the incovneince,of course,we'll respond for the returnning fee,how do you think so?keep in touch

Should I mail it back? I never shipped anything internationally. I'm guessing he was trying to say he'll reimburse me for the fees but how do i know for sure?

normally they should send you another one thats without those problems, imagine the days you have to wait to ship it back and then ship a new one... cheap ass sellers i tell ya
 
Everyone just needs to pay the extra $$$ and buy from iResQ! They are OEM w/ the flash diffuser. Don't get scammed on eBay. Mine was $97 with $13 overnight shipping. I used the $5 off promo code: SNAZZY

I agree. Been loving mine ever since! I went and got a white bumper for it and it looks incredible. I love it.

I love mine as well. Installed it this afternoon and can't stop looking at it. Adding a bumper makes it look really sharp and you cannot tell it's mismatched.
 
I really don't care enough for the white back to spend $100 on it. I only purchased the eBay one because it looked good for the price.

To put things in perspective, a person who bought the 16 GB iPhone 4 could upgrade and get a 32 GB iPhone 4 for the price of the iResq white back.

I take it that's a shot at me? I have 5.5GB used on my 16GB iPhone. If you want to spend money on eBay looking for a "cheap" option that's fine. iResQ is quality and that's all I'm saying. ;)
