Just Got My White Glass Backplate For My iPhone 4

I notice no difference on my screens, I have this white one and also an unmodded iphone 4.

Hi Guys,

Just wanted some referral from those of you from UK who have already got a back plate to a seller on eBay or website. Looking for a good quality backplate close to the original.

Anyone bought from this seller: eddiecwk from eBay - he calls it 'iPhone 4 Pro' cover? What are your thoughts?

Indeed I have, the only minor issues I see are that it seems a little shorter at the bottom than the black, like the lip of the steel band is more, I didn't put the original back on to check it for comparison, it's not much of a difference in all honesty. In one or two spots it's might not fit super flush down on the band. I've seen other pics of the same thing. The black one's would make it harder to notice, so maybe they all do it. The camera seems ok to me although I haven't done a lot of testing yet, none outside, just a few shots after I put it on. For the price I'm incredibly happy with it. It's more than likely the same back companies here are charging 50+ for. I'll post some pics with it installed later.

Thanks for posting ur pics up aawil, looking forward to the installed pics. I'm thinking of buying this from the same seller you bought from (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260708961754#ht_623wt_1141 ) and would like to have a look at a very good closeup of the camera lens and what it looks like. If you could pop in a closeup of the camera lense and flash, I would very much appreciate it so that I can have a look to see if I am happy with the way it looks before committing to buy.

Also, does the backplate have a lens cover or is it just a hole?

How long did the shipping take? Are you from the US?

I've noticed with mine that the white backplate is slightly thicker than the black one. I have the inCase snap case for mine and it won't fit with the white back on the phone.
 
I like my metal and leather back plates better then the white, a black front and a white back look too mismatched to me personally

Hey that white part looks really good, I guess ebay is getting higher quality parts now, vie been looking for a while all i found was cheap knock offs! :( Do you know if they have the front piece for that as well?
 
Are you serious? You payed that much just for the white back plate? Did you know you can get the whole thing switched to white for a little more money? You got ripped off pal. Those white back plates are only 50-60 and on ebay like 20. lol Im sorry to be rude but, I had to say something! You got ripped off for a mismatched iphone 4 I don't like how its white and black looks cheap. One or the other white or black not together in my opinion!

I'm debating purchasing one of these things.
I've noticed that before, there were a lot of purchases from ebay user "eddiecwk".
Now, that user name no longer sells anything and there's a "eddiecwk2011" which has the same avatar, and similar description on items but with ZERO feedback.

Is this the same guy?

Looks like it, seems like they went down a little in price too

Yep, check your phone to see what screws it has, the early ones had phillips, but apple has switched to there own screws, so you need a specialized screwdriver for that.

Let's hope so. I ordered it from him this past weekend. It's lower in price cause of Chinese New Year special. Thats what he told me when I tried to "make an offer". It was shipped today and he gave me a tracking number along with a link to the Hong Kong PO to track it. IF it comes in, I'll report back here on this post.
