Just Got My White Glass Backplate For My iPhone 4

I owned one of those white back snap cases. Gave it away about two days after I received it in the mail.

It snaps on with great difficulty since it's a really tight fit. I was constantly afraid that I'd snap it.

these are the same backs as referenced in https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/989695/. one seller claims plastic, the other aluminum. both use plastic tabs for the screws to secure into which will probably break in a drop. the oem back uses metal tabs.

also note that the pink version doesn't have the ugly black eye looking ring around the lens.

Doesn't look like aluminum to me. Looks like white plastic! And those cases are $29.99 shipped on Ebay.

An aluminum one would be super sweet tho.

I have a couple of them. They look great, but they are hard to remove.

Not all of these cases on bay are the same. Some are cheaper and thinner, and allow the black iPhone back to show throu the white back, and some do not.

White factory back like in the rest of the photos posted. I did not want the cheap plastic ones.

I'm with you on that! It's the perfect option. Maybe once the white phone drops, their price will go down.

Just got my white glass back from globaldirectparts today. Looks PERFECT! Installed in under 1 minute and it doesn't click when I squeeze it like the black one did! This always bugged me and now I know that the black glass piece was the culprit. I'm very happy with the purchase (cost me $85 when I ordered 2 weeks ago, now they sell for $105.)
