Few points:

- Can't get 'tabs' to work in Safari!!!! Where is the option
It is iPad only, due to its wider screen.

Anyone notice geolocation not active in reminders for this beta?I don't see how to activate it.

They are in the Remind Me option, and in Reminders not Tasks.

Double tap the home button while on the lock screen. The camera button pops up next to the unlock slider.

Excellent, thanks.

Thank you. Sure hope that changes.

It probably will. Most of the previous betas I've seen have added incremental features during the beta as people requested it.

For instance, for ios4 the double tap home got rid of ipod controls, so they added them alter as a swipe to the left of the multitasking tray. Things like that. Maybe iOS5.1.

Still, if you want something like that it never hurts to leave them some feedback http://www.apple.com/feedback/

People did that for the iPad mute switch / orientation lock and it was added back because it was a "requested feature". Not sure if that is directly responsible but it definitely helps.

It seems to work for me. I haven't actually crossed the "geofence" yet, but it's seemingly working.

Just went into Reminders, clicked on the +, added one, went to "Remind Me" inside the settings, and turned on the location reminder.

It did ask if I wanted to turn on location services for the app. Make sure yours are enabled in the Settings app.

Indeed. I was entering tasks (I have exchange) which is separate sheet from reminders. Tasks doesn't hAve this option but reminders though. Interestingly, if you try to set a custom location it brings up the contacts database. Not sure why. I would think maps would be more appropriate since now I can't enter the address I want t geotag since it's not associated with a contact. You see this too?

Have there been any changes to group SMS, or group email? Currently, every time you add another user to the send list, you have to hit the + button again and go through the list. Any custom-save groups at all?

Can anyone tell me if iOS5 allows us to create profiles for turning various sounds off at night?

For example, I need to keep my phone on, but all other sounds off, and while I can do it manually...

Tabbed browsing works awesome on the iPad, and even though still try to get used to it I'm loving the split keyboard.
I love the notifications which is the thing I wanted the most, but it needs more options. I want to be able to see anything that is coming up in my calendar in the next few days on the lockscreen/notification center. Whilst you can't clear all of the notifications in the list you can clear all of the notifactions for one particular app at a time.

Is tabbed browsing only available on the iPad? There isn't an option on the iphone!

Anyone else having slowness problems with the iPhone 4? Feels like I've gone back to an iPhone 3g at times its soo slow. Brand new dfu restore. Should I try again? No apps installed. Also not able to get iCloud working correctly. Might need to go to the dev forums :(.

I'd love this too. I get server emails all night. Doesn't look like it... :(

Game Center seems to be not working properly. I can sign in with my iTunes Account, but it is asking me to create a new nickname. It should just know that i already have a nickname, right? Does anyone else have this problem?

Is it so difficult to flip the silent switch before going to bed?!

No flipping the switch isnt hard at all..... BUT what about those of us who need our phone to RING at night but dont want to hear the jingle of emails all night long? Yeah exactly.... but thanks for your useless snarky smart a$$ response!

Ok, Mr. Popular, so go to Settings and turn off all sounds other than for calls each night before going to bed.

Exactly what I want...

I've been looking into making an app for doing just that, kind of like 'timed profiles', but the problem is in xCode it is hard to gain access to the volume of the iPhone without using undocumented APIs. Maybe with ios5 and xCode 4.2 you can.

iOS 5 and Exchange?

Has anyone who has the iOS 5 beta and an Exchange account noticed any issues with e-mail, calendar, or contacts?

well, it might be coming, cuz you can go to the maps app and send locations via sms. but it doesnt seem to be working in the beta. it looked like it was clickable while it was sending but when it sent it wasnt.

Cool, hopefully they'll implement it.

iOS 5 notification clearing

If you indirectly address a notification item, does it automatically clear? i.e., if you get a notification that you have two e-mails, but read one of them by opening the Mail app and NOT by selecting it through Notification Center, will Notification Center automatically update to show that you only have one unread e-mail? Same thing with texts, Words with Friends, etc...?

Working ok for me. Must be a bug.

Haven't noticed a huge difference with the camera app. It might open a little faster, but that may be because of the fresh restore when you install iOS 5. It's snappy from the lockscreen too, very nice.

Thanks.
