Guys, I know this seems lame, but I'm pretty sure I just jizzed my pants! Holy cow! Since, there are LED notifications could the iPhone 4S/5 have a front LED. I dont know or care I just want this on my phone now!

I'm curious too. And other questions rise to me head, like: Is using a slot from (someone else's) developer's account against any rules?
Either way, I still want to get a developer's slot and try out iOS 5 soon :3

I downloaded the ipsw and am holding alt while I press restore on iTunes to select the file I downloaded. Am using iTunes 10.5 beta and downloaded the file for my AT&T iPhone (GSM). I immediately get an error message saying the firmware is incompatible.
What am I doing wrong?

Are you a dev? If not has a dev registered your UDID? Simply finding the download link online will not work.
Are you a developer or have you got your device registered with a developers account?
A dev activated my UDID.

Maybe the Ipsw is corrupt I don't know? Can anyone else help here? It doesn't say this device is not registered etc?
are you running 10.5 beta? and are you sure you dl the gsm version and not the cdma version?
Looks like the animation bug is not present in iOS 5. I guess they finally removed that line of code that was screwing everything up in 4.3.3.
No, they automatically work in the new notification center. You can set them to work the old way though if you want. It's pretty nice be able to set how you want each app to display it's notifications.
Other random observations:
Double tap home and double swipe left now brings up a volume slider and airplay control. Really wish this was a brightness control.
Newsstand is really just a folder that will take in any newspapers or magazines. It's not actually an app. Because it's a folder you can't place it in another folder, so I have relegated it to the last screen.
Syncing while using the phone was nice, but very very sluggish. Granted, I was installing 123 apps. I imagine once it's just transferring a few changes here and there it won't be noticeable.
Overall, speed is just fine on iPhone4
Random bug. I lost all my Bookcovers in iBooks except for 1. Every book I imported from other sources lost it's art.
May have missed this before, but I was updating 20 apps tonight and at least 7 of them were going at once, rather than 1 at a time.
Anyone know if the beta updates will be delta updates over the air? Would love if that was the case!
