I dunno, I skipped 9.0 (long story). But doesn't seem like the kind of thing that would be added with a point update.

Open Fitness app on your iPhone, locate your workout, tap on it to see workout details, scroll down until you see Heart Rate, then tap Show More.
I have to thank you.

I was wondering if I could find a map of my journey, and doing what you said answered my question.

So much information in the Fitness app.

Yes, that's what my zones looked like at first, which I found not very useful or inspiring. Then I edited the zones. From Apple's support page:
"open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone, tap My Watch, go to Workout > Heart Rate Zones, tap Manual, tap zone 2, 3, or 4, then enter lower and upper limits."

I edited zone 2 to start at 100, tinkered with the other zones until my average heart rates during most walks ended up in zone 3, and now I have more incentive to hit and keep my heart rate in that zone.

Thank you for the advice.

I wasn’t marching at all. It was just a leisurely walk.

I’ll maybe step up the pace a bit tomorrow, no pun intended.

I think this is going to get addictive! What strap do you wear most of the time?

With my OCD I tend to like to stick to a routine and once I started recording my walks and running I don’t like to miss one, so yes it can get addictive!😂😂

For daily wear on my Ultra I use an Alpine Band for exercise such as running and walks I use a Nike Sport Loop which is very comfortable and the adjustment ensures a good fit so my heart rate is measured reliably.

I figured it was a leisurely walk, based on your heart rate. Start slow, step up gradually, is good!

And yes, it is addictive, which is what makes Apple watch a good fitness tool.

I'm currently using the Nike Sports band, it was my preferred band until the solo loops came out. I really like the solo loop, they are very comfortable to wear, but the problem is they stretch, and in my case, eventually break. I'm going to buy the S8 with a solo loop, wear it till it breaks, then it'll be back to the Nike. Nothing is going to break that band, it'll probably keep going until Apple changes the watch to be no longer compatible, lol.

The solo loop (non braided) interests me, but the thought of it breaking concerns me.

When yours broke, did your watch not fall, causing damage?

By the way, what’s your favourite colour?

I love starlight. My favourite colour for paint (in the home) is magnolia. That’s my OCD, I love the “pure” nature of said colour.

White is my favourite colour, because it’s absolutely pure. However, I wouldn’t have it for wallpaper because not only would it show up marks very easily, but it would also be like being in hospital (where I spend too much time! :))

I think it broke while I was putting it on. I'm not sure how it managed not to fall, or whether I was on a soft surface like the sofa or bed. I did get some warning because it started to tear before it broke completely. I now know to stop using it when I see the first sign of a tear.

Colors, I tend to like darker, richer colors. I always get my devices in the darkest color they have. The right shade of yellow is great, though. I once had a yellow dress I loved. Whites, I'll get stains on them in a minute, so I avoid as much as possible.

I think neutral colours are more versatile.

That’s why I went with the silver stainless steel.

To me, the ultra's titanium finish feels more neutral. Silver seems to crash with some of the more darker band colors, at least from what I can see in the case-band matching interface that Apple has. I know it'll work great for you, but not for me. The only way I'll consider getting the stainless silver is if I'm getting one with a Hermes leather band.

I’d never buy anything from Hermes.

Look on YouTube for how they “obtain” their alligator skins. Truly barbaric.

I’m vegetarian, by the way.

Not vegetarian, though I think Americans consume way too much meat, and could do with consuming less.

Not sure I want to watch what horrible thing Hermes does with alligators, I'll take your word for it. I don't know if any other brand makes leather comparable to Hermes, all I mean is it'll take that quality leather band to make me get an Apple watch in silver stainless.

I know you have a good heart.

I just thought I’d share that with you.

I wasn’t judging (not you, but certainly Hermes) so please don’t think I was.

If leather is obtained as a byproduct, then fair enough. But to do what they do, is totally unacceptable.

As per the title.

Just came out of hospital, due to something I did because of my mental health.

Need to turn my life around, and thought the AW would help me to do so.

Apart from Apple Fitness, what other steps (no pun intended) do you think I could benefit from, re the Apple Watch?

Wishing you all well, and thanks in advance for any responses.
No materialistic thing will turn your life around that comes from within.
