Just Received a CSS Email From AT&T!

Ordered 2 phones for both of my lines. 1 from ATT premier site and 1 from Apple.com. Both aren't showing new CSS and never got the CSS email.

I ordered pretty early too, about 30 mins once the preorder went live.
 
Ordered from one from Apple at 5:30 PM CT ... New contract date has been updated to June of 2012.

Ordered from one from ATT Premier at 10:30 AM CT and of course nothing has shown up.

What else is new, T-Minus 6 days until AT&T screws up yet again
 
I just got mine... My history:

Placed an order through AT&T Premier in the initial hour of ordering, that immediately went into "attention!" status. The next afternoon, I found an iPhone in my Apple shopping cart (like many other people, from a timed out attempt the night before)

I decided to go ahead and place that order, and cancelled the AT&T order the next day (trusting Apple more).
 
Both my husband and I ordered from Apple.com around noon on 6/15.

We haven't received any emails but it looks like the AT&T account default was none@none.com. I just changed that and dug around my account profile a bit.

Looks like my contract (I'm the primary on the account because of a work FAN) updated to 6/XX/2012 but my husband's is still 3/11/2010. Not too worried about it since we were both eligible and both got upgrade prices.

Apple.com shows us both getting delivery on Jun 24th. (Placed separate orders).
 
I'm assuming that everyone who has received this CSS notification has a confirmed ship date of June 24th in their order status?

Anyone receive the ATT notification with an Apple Store ship date of "by July 2nd"?

Edit: I got my preorder in around 10:30pm on June 15th btw...

1. Log on to your AT&T account.
2. Go to Profile
3. Go to User Information
4. You will that that your new contract date is 06/XX/2012 along with your new CSS
5. Repeat for each line 🙂

I have 5 orders through Apple Online and all 5 of my lines show 06/17/2012 along with new CSS's.

Also, my fan is still perfectly intact 😉

Thanks for the info! i tried this and found out my terms changed to 6/17/2012. I guess I will get the CCS email whenever AT&T decides to send it.

My delivery date from Apple shows 6/24/2012. CORRECTION: 6/24/10 - sorry about that!
 
Hrmm odd. I ordered mine 1:50PM PST on Tuesday (6/15) and received two emails confirming the order right away. I've yet to be charged, emailed CSS or see an extended date on my contract. I ordered through Premier and currently I'm at the "Processing" stage. I never saw an "Attention!", but I did notice the normal ATT site says my ordered was placed on the 16th and that its currently back ordered. I don't know what to expect, but if my phone arrives in mid July, it better arrive before my son is born because the main reason I got this phone was the HD camcorder. 😎
 
Okay, now my contract date is updated to 6/18/2012 on ATT's site. I still havent received the CSS email yet, but I feel a little better!

It took TWO days to receive my confirmation email, but I called Apple to make sure everything was OK with the order and they said it was scheduled to ship June 24. I haven't received a CSS though and my ATT account page still says contract end date of 7/25/10. 😕

Should I call ATT or just wait it out and hopefully receive my CSS soon?

I placed an order for 1 of my lines through the Apple store and the contract date on the ATT site changed to 6/18/2012. Didn't get CSS but that should be fine.

update, this was my situation (ordered at 6pm June 15) and I had changed my shipping address on Apple's website on June 16. I've been checking my "contract end date" on ATT and it wasn't updated.... until a few minutes ago. I now show my cntract going through 2012. Bam.

So ATT is working its way through the contract renewal queue, and changing your shipping address with Apple does not cause a glitch on ATT's end.
 
I ordered 4 iPhones for 4 different lines throughout the day (from 6:00am until about 3:30pm)... got all the CSS emails and my account is upgraded.
 
My summary is filled with errors:
  • $18 upgrade fee (was waived on both iPhone order page and upgrade status SMS).
  • Does not show any FAN discount.
  • $20 unlimited data plan for iPhone. Not complaining if true, but isn't this legacy 2G iPhone data plan?
  • Mysterious $15 "other features" on the list of monthly features.
I understand the summary is supposed to be estimate, but this is very misleading.
 
I ordered from apple.com and still have not received any emails from att and my credit card hasn't been charged. I have confirmation from Apple that my phone Delivers by the 24th. Should I be worried my credit card hasn't been charged yet and I haven't received any emails from ATT?
 
Ordered black 32GB i4 at 1652 PDT on 6/15 from Apple.com...Received confirmation email from Apple a couple of hours later.

Got my CSS email at 1053 today. 🙂
 
I got this email too and my upgrade date has finally changed on AT&T.

No email or change of contract end date yet for my two lines.

Ordered shortly before 8 AM 6/15 from AT&T Premier.

Mine also says I am eligible again in 2011? Strange seeing as it's a TWO year contract.. but hey I'm not complaining about it 🙂

But my CSS has two errors:

1) It says that I have an $18 upgrade fee which is false (it said it was waived on Apple.com and in my upgrade SMS I received)

2) My FAN discount isn't in there.
 
Just a statement of the obvious...The orders placed through Apple seem to be "moving" faster than the ones placed directly through AT&T.

It would be logical to see the CSS come FIRST for those orders that came directly through AT&T.

Then again, VERY little of ANY of the happenings the last few days has been logical.

For those (like me) whose upgrade fees were waived, but it still shows on the CSS, I believe that the waiver will show on the first bill. The CSS is essentially a standard template, with a few variations, and while there is normally an upgrade fee, in the end it will not be applied to all accounts.

If it does show up, then it will be easily enough fixed with a phone call. I'm not sweating it.
 
Got one of these this morning as well. Was able to preorder on Apple's site at 3:15 am CDT on Tuesday.

From the CSS, it also looks like the unlimited data is intact!
