Mine also says I am eligible again in 2011? Strange seeing as it's a TWO year contract.. but hey I'm not complaining about it :)

But my CSS has two errors:

1) It says that I have an $18 upgrade fee which is false (it said it was waived on Apple.com and in my upgrade SMS I received)

2) My FAN discount isn't in there.

You can usually get an upgrade in 18 months.

You can call AT&T, and they will waive the upgrade fee.

I placed my order on the Apple Store at 5:16 PST on 6/14. It took TWO days to receive my confirmation email, but I called Apple to make sure everything was OK with the order and they said it was scheduled to ship June 24. I haven't received a CSS though and my ATT account page still says contract end date of 7/25/10.

Should I call ATT or just wait it out and hopefully receive my CSS soon?

I just got off the phone with ATT who said they have no record of my order with Apple, and gave me some run around about duplicate orders, etc. They told to call Apple, so I did, and Apple told me to call ATT.

So keeping my fingers crossed hoping everything is A-OK. :(

Do you pay over $100 on your bill each month? That's why it lets me upgrade every year I believe.

I ordered at the no commitment price, so I wonder if I will get this email?

I got the CSS last night for the order I placed through Apple.com, none for the one through Premier yet. Also, it doesn't state my FAN discount.

Is it normal for a CSS to be wrong? I sold my 3G and activated my original iPhone on the 14th before the preorder, but on the CSS I got, it is all for the original iPhone (you have this plan, blah blah,) and not for the iPhone 4. It did change my contract date to feb 2012 though. It just made no mention of the new iPhone.

(I made a thread earlier about this but I guess I was looking at the CSS from another phone on my account)

What exactly is this CSS everyone is talking about? I got my email from AT&T right after I order the phone and that's it. Should I be receiving something else? I told me in the email that they would srnd me another email when my order was shipped out. I'm kinda lost here.

I've gotten this email a few times over the past year, I'm still not sure what it's for.

Received my CSS and called AT&T to waive the $18 fee. The rep said he couldn't actually credit it now because it hasn't been billed but he notated my account and when I see it, I can call and they'll issue the credit.

Fan

BTW, I asked him if my FAN discount was still active bc I saw that the discount was not shown in the CSS. He said it was and would show up on my bill. Discounts are never shown in the CSS. If there is a FAN, there will be a discount.

I got the CSS email with the PDF of my new contract agreement ages ago, on June 16th @ 4:09AM

EDIT: I ordered directly from an AT&T store, on paper at 2PM on the 15th; my friend ordered his at the same store but earlier, before the systems went down. He said that they made him review and sign his contract IN STORE and he did not get a CSS email so far.

Does the CSS from look the same if you ordered from AT&T or apple?

I ordered mine from Apple. It looked the same as my original order last year when I switched to AT&T and ordered through Premier.

For those concerned because their FAN is not included in the CSS, do not worry.

The CSS is only a detailed summation of your contract, and the FAN is separate in that there might arise a situation (ie. change of employment) where you are no longer eligible for your current FAN, but the contract continues regardless.

You can change or delete your FAN at any time during the contract, based on a change of circumstances, but the contract itself remains the same.

Good to know although I see a line item on there for an $18 activation fee which they told me would be waived. Are they hoping people have iPhone 4 fever and won't notice?

never got this CSS email but I did the *639# and got a new upgrade date of 2/18/2012.

I received my CSS E-mail and went to check it out. My current billing cycle ends on June 22. I won't receive the new iPhone 4 until June 24. Yet, it appears AT&T is slapping the $18 upgrade fee on this month's billing cycle, before I've even activated the new phone.

Obviously, I'm going to pay it. It's not that big of a deal. It's a one-time fee and it needs to get paid one way or the other. But something about their accounting procedure just seems wrong.

For those of you who have still not received a CSS, check your email address with att. I know this seems obvious, but for at least family plans, they have a different email for the "account" and for each "user". I hadn't gotten a CSS until I realized that my "user" email address was an old one. I went and check that email and it sent yesterday morning.

Go to att then to my profile then to user info and select your user and check that email address.

Sorry for the dumb question but I am an ubernewbie here - should I be getting a CSS email if I am a new customer to AT&T (this will be my first iphone) or is the CSS email strictly for current subscribers? I preordered from apple on 6/15, have an order acknowledgement with the statement about agreeing to AT&Ts terms and conditions and my order status is prepared to ship, but I have yet to receive this CSS email. Thanks for the help.

You can check your css pdf on the att website (without ever receiving an email) after you log into your account. It is under the profile and then under user information tab and it will tell you your new contract end date there. I went there after I didnt get an email, and realized on that tab it contains another email address slot that was registered to an old email that i no longer have access to. Probably why i didnt get an email but I was able to pull the pdf up right from the website and it confirms the new order.

Hope this helps everyone out.

Same exact thing with me. Will call after I receive my next bill.
