Nonsense. Again, another example, of a lack of understanding beta development of an OS.
Taking on board feedback from media, influencers and bloggers, is the last thing Apple (or any other decent company) would do.
You don’t drive your business and innovation from some 'misguided', or ‘opinions’ presented.
A roadmap will have been created, and you will, have seen that in the keynote, of where they want to be. There will be shifts along the way, testing out what works, what doesn’t. What you see, is a visual representation of the OS, not the ‘code’ beneath it.
Feedback through the app, will allow for specific info to be sent with the report, including what software is also on the OS, how you are using it, the specifics of the hardware, etc

Doesn’t matter. We are talking about feedback related to aesthetics. What I was saying is that Apple doesn’t care what your opinion is. But they care about what the media says about their design.
Take iOS 15. The walk back of the Safari tab bar changes were spearheaded solely by bad press. No users submitting feedback tickets with rants about how they don’t like change contributed to that reversal. If the press had remained silent until launch, there would have been zero changes until iOS 16. Nothing from the Feedback app contributed to this design change.

OK. Prove it. You make a statement, that Apple didn't amend anything, based on users submitting feedback tickets, without the slightest evidential proof, and then choose to insult me. I could be very succinct, in evaluating your software and development skills and knowledge too.

Can you enlighten us, as to what software you are developing/developed, which requires beta OS, and giving feedback to Apple?
I'm still surprised they added the library tab back to the Photos app...after a whole year.
How about you prove that opinions online don’t contribute anything? Because it surely seems they do.
Also, yes, it doesn’t need a report filed in the Feedback app to work on esthetics that are universal on all devices no matter what third party apps are installed.
I get your point, but you seem to get no body else’s.

and that is based on what? insider info from apple?
i would think it all matters (user feedback, blogs, forums, etc). but am just, like you, guessing...
I’m sure it does, weighed however Apple chooses. To me it’s an adventure and I’ll contain most of my criticism until I get to my destination.

No one can say for certain that Apple doesn’t take tech press/social media comments in to consideration. But I don’t believe for one second the slight tweaks from beta 1 to beta 2 were the result of people whining about it online. And honestly the tech press isn’t really even talking about it. Because they don’t typically spend a lot of time talking about beta software. To me the more likely explanation is Apple has been tweaking liquid glass since its inception and those tweaks will continue to show up on the betas and beyond.
