Although Kanye West's entire new album, "The Life of Pablo," remains exclusive to Tidal, the artist recently released a single onto rival services like Apple Music, Google Play, and Spotify (via Pitchfork). The song available is called "Famous," and is described as "a sinister reflection on fame - featuring a Rihanna hook and brilliant samples" by the Editor's Notes on Apple Music.

The release of Famous comes a few weeks after West tweeted that The Life of Pablo would "never never never" come to Apple Music or iTunes. The context of that tweet may point towards a less-than-serious mindset from the artist, because around the same time he tweeted about being $53 million in debt while using the social network to ask for money from Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg.

In the transition to the new services, Famous also got a lyric change. The line reading "she be Puerto Rican day parade wavin'" was replaced with "she in school to be a real estate agent" on Apple Music, Google Play, and Spotify. Those interested can listen to Famous from The Life of Pablo on Apple Music here.

Update 4/1: The Life of Pablo is officially available for fans to listen on Apple Music, Google Play, and Spotify, ending its previous exclusivity with Tidal. The album is also available as a $20 download from West's official website.

I guess he isn't making enough money from his own Tidal service. Apple should have told him he was welcome to take the rest of his crap off of iTunes and Apple Music.

You go ahead and tell me whose album got a perfect 5 stars from Rolling Stone
http://www.rollingstone.com/music/albumreviews/my-beautiful-dark-twisted-fantasy-20101109

Then, go ahead and tell me whose album was declared best album of the CENTURY according to GQ
http://www.gq.com/story/21-best-albums-of-the-21st-century?currentPage=1

Sorry, but I don't think Rolling Stone and GQ is "no one".

LOL sorry, but magazine critics are just people whose opinions happen to end up on a website. If somehow being on a website makes them more legitimate than others, then I guess everyone on this forum deserves one of your altars.

And being part of Rolling Stone or GQ doesn't make a person "someone," sorry.

I thought Kanye said his new album will never be on Apple Music.
It’s not. Only the single is. In fact even if he releases all of his tracks separately the album still might not necessarily be there. Semantics, usually reserved for companies not individuals.
The Mac Pro 1,1 is 64 bit. There’s another.

How can they declare an album best of the 21st century 86 years before its ended?

He replied to a post stating "said no one ever." He then cited two people, doesn't matter if they're any more "legitimate" than anyone else, it simply showed the prior poster's comment to be absurd.

Every submission about Kanye West gets into this same rut. We get it, you (in the general sense, not specifically you Kaibeif) don't like rap music, recycling the same puns you first heard in the early 90s doesn't make you edgy. He's said some really stupid things too, possibly for promotion purposes or maybe he has some screws loose upstairs, but he has a lot of talent as well; whether or not you like what he produces doesn't diminish that talent.

Even if you want to try to derail the legitimacy of GQ and Rolling Stone, how about the Grammy's? Are you going to find a way to argue their lack of legitimacy as well? Go ahead and look at the rankings. There are only 9 other artists that have won more Grammy's than Kanye West. Sorry, but you look ignorant.

Absolutely. Spot. On.
I’ve never knowingly listened to the guy but took a trip to the iTunes Store just now. He has made some tracks I now recognise and, (are actually pretty good), ones I know as popular.
You have to expect the usual bigoted view when anything to do with rap music comes up here at MR. It’s a given.

That is some surprising reading. I wonder now how out of touch I am with that stuff though. I have never owned anything at all;
By any artist higher than position 10.
By any male artist higher than position 8.
By any female artist, Ok position 2.
By any group higher than position 15.
