    Hi guys,

    i have a macbook pro 15" from 2017.
In the picture attached below you can see the info of the laptop.
I have upgraded the macOS to High Sierra on Tuesday and since then the macbook is not working properly. Every time when the mac goes to sleep (when i click on sleep from the apple menu, or just closing the lid for more than a few minutes), it won't wake anymore when i try to do so.
When i try to wake the macbook, there are two scenarios:
    1. Sometimes the macbook is just shut down and i will have to press the power button to restart it all over again.
    2. Sometimes after i opened the lid and waited for a while, i will see a message saying "your laptop was restarted because of a problem, press any key or wait ..." and then the laptop will just restart itself.
From both cases, i will get a problem report which i will include below.

Can someone please help me with this??

I'd start there. Uninstall that and see what happens next.

I have the exact same issue. My error report is identical to yours. Sorry can't help, but if you find out the cause please post it.

Mine has a KP due to photo analysis deamon.

Never happen in Sierra, happened once in HS just 8 hours ago.

How are you getting that log?

I do not get that message but since high sierra on my 2016 15 mbp After so much time after closing my lid I have to boot up my computer fresh. No indication that it was a kernel panic but there's no reason for it to have shut down.

Same here. Got an SSD installed in my Mac Mini 2012 and they put a High Siera Image. I said let's go for it. Now every time I sit at my desk, the mac will not wake up from sleep.
Wrong expectation. The Mac is down.

After booting into MacOS I get a "Send report to apple" pop-up which is mentioning kernel panic. I don"t know if they installed the SSD wrong or it is because of High Siera.

i notice the photoanalysisd processes consuming most CPU. :(

I also had this issue on a Late 2016 13" MacBook Pro with 4 Thunderbolt ports. Before I restored back to a Sierra backup I verified that having the charger or a USB-C hub plugged in or not didn't make any difference, nor did the method of entering sleep — it crashed everytime.

Just have another KP, pretty sure that's HS problem but not any particular software. Because all three KP that I experienced are with different software.

Anyway, already report the bugs to Apple, and all KP reports submitted.

Just installed the supplemental update, OS build number now is 17A405. Hopefully, it fix the KP issue. This is really a serious bug.

I get the same issue on my mac every since the upgraded. Sometimes 2 or 3 times a day. Upgrades have not helped. Here is the routine panic report that I send to apple every time.

I have a MacBook Pro 13" 2016 with Touch Bar and this happens for me since day one on High Sierra beta, now for almost 4 months. Also this happens randomly even when no peripherals are connected and my MacBook is just resting on battery.

I wrote them several times, they even answered that it should be fixed, but it's not.

So since the Supplemental Update earlier this week I'm having the same issue. (https://pastebin.com/rsmkBuqh)

2016 MBP 15" base modell. Happened 4 or 5 times alone today :/

So another night is over and I put the MacBook to sleep manually. It didn’t crash this morning so for me the error only occurs when the Mac goes to sleep after screensaver

I am having this same issue on my 2016 13 inch tb 4tb3. It happens when I wake from sleep with no peripherals connected. It all started when I upgraded to high sierra. It crashed in the middle of the update. Would a clean install help? I have already reinstalled the OS.
    --- Post Merged, Oct 16, 2017 ---
mine seems to only panic after longer periods of sleep since the supplemental update. It does have a VERY hard time waking and then logging in by touch ID though..

Time is not a problem for the kernel panic. I had one after 5 minutes of standby :/

Could you please check the status of your IOThunderbolt.kext? To do this, open "About this Mac", open "
system report", go to "Software" and finally "Extensions". It now loads every registered KEXT and you should see something like "Obtained from". Select the IOThunderbolt.kext now, check the last column. If there is "Apple", everything's great, if not, something's definetely wrong.

Just happened to me as well.

I have been getting this after upgrading to High Sierra:
    *** Panic Report ***

panic(cpu 0 caller 0xffffff7f8133b71b): "UPSB: thunderbolt power on failed 0xffffffff\n"@/BuildRoot/Library/Caches/com.apple.xbs/Sources/IOPCIFamily/IOPCIFamily-320.1.1/IOPCIBridge.cpp:1297

Its related to when it goes to sleep. I'm never here when it does it.
BUT I have found out, if I remove the cable to the second screen, (Mini DisplayPort to hdmi) it doesn't crash.
