Is this the first OEM to offer actual Apple Watch support?

I have a Tesla app on my Apple Watch, but it's not official and it rarely works. I'd really like Tesla to make an official Apple Watch app.

Although I suspect it's Apple's fault that the Apple Watch apps work so rarely. Why is it that Apple Watch apps never seem to remember that I've logged in before and they always give me a message "log in on your iPhone first"? It defeats the entire purpose of having an Apple Watch app, and having most of the apps be broken just kind of defeats the purpose of owning the Apple Watch at all.

Lets see what the efficiency is!

If I can average 4.7-5.0 mi/kWh on a Rav4 Prime, I'd consider if it were just as, or more efficient. Leased that is.

Looking forward to the gazillion recalls on this one. I'll never buy a Kia again, my wife and I have had nothing but issues on our 2013 Sportage and my 2016 Soul.
Must be issues with the ones manufactured for the US market. I own a sportage and it’s been an absolute dream. I’m in the U.K. abs it’s the best car I’ve owned.

Free..

I am seeing people bashing Kia and Hyundai but I know many people that have purchased one or the other in the past two years and they never had a single issue. I think these two brands evolved drastically in the past decade if you are talking from your experience having a 2010 Kia or Hyundai

Kia has made huge progress with quality since 2014/2015. They are now among the most reliable car brands.

Incidentally what turned me to Kia was Honda. I’ve had two Hondas and had major, recurrent issues with them. After reading consumer reports and other reviews, it was Toyota or Kia/Hyundai. Toyota (have one that’s been flawless over the past 7 years) didn’t make the type of vehicle I was looking for so it was a Kia.
Don't know what to tell you - we've had nothing but problems that kia techs can't even diagnose. I've had so many recalls since 2016 and going to the dealer their service department is packed at opening with little people in the sales floor.

External and internal vehicle design and features are great though but as a functional car.. hell no

My parents have a Sorento. When I was surprised they left Toyotas for something what a bad rep, they said not all Kias rate well but the Sorento did.

2014 Sorento with 85,000 miles. Only issue is the pano roof shattered and rained glass on them randomly. Otherwise no issues.

Agreed. This offer is only to attract some media attention
And??? So??? What exactly is wrong with a company trying to promote their product by including a popular-branded accessory? Damn, some of you act like this company has some nerve. 🙄

Love all the electric cars coming out now. They're finally going mainstream! I'm looking forward to checking out the F-150 Lightning. I'd never buy one of these early generation all-electrics from these newcomers, but it's good to see a start, and perhaps a few years down the road I will purchase one if they seem decent.

As others have said, I've always been a Kia and Hyundai hater but as much as I hate to admit it, from what I've read they seem to be a lot better nowadays. It's always difficult to shake a bad reputation, and it was deserved, but perhaps we should give them a little more props for improving their reliability.

As for this specific vehicle, I have to give Kia props for designing something that looks different without looking like garbage. I'm more a fan of the front than the back, which gets a little weird, but it's not bad.

We're leasing a Kia Niro EV at the moment, our 3rd EV, and I have to say I really like it. I'll certainly consider a E-GMP platform vehicle in a few years after the lease expires. That should be enough time for Kia/Hyundai to work out the kinks :)
I also have a Kia Niro EV, also my third EV. I'm with you -- the EV6 is on my shortlist as of now. Zero issues with my Niro EV. Surprisingly quick too.

As far as I know This is going to be a +$60k. A new Apple Watch won’t make any difference
No way it’s going to be $60k. You can get an Audi e tron for barely more than that. Kia will not be able to get away with charging luxury brand prices and will not try to do so.

Same here, in 2009. Worst car I've ever had, and trust me I owned a couple of clunkers.

I love the design of these, and the similarly-sized Hyundai Ioniq. Both Kia and Hyundai (and the Genesis offshoot) have jumped significantly in quality recent years. People comparing these to models made 10+ or even 5 years ago don't know how much the brands have evolved.

Still, it'd be a great car for a lease for a few years, but probably wouldn't purchase one given how quickly the EV landscape is evolving.

Surprisingly, this turns out to be a better deal (price/free item value ratio) than the pay for college get an iPad Air promo...
