Well all bets are off, they came out with new M2/M2 Max 14"/16" MBPs in only 15 months. If that was the same interval, then they would arrive April 2024.
I believe if I read Kuo statement correctly it means production 1H2024 which could also mean as long as it starts on the last day of June 2024 the statement is accurate. I did not read it as released M3 MBP 1H2024, I expect a late release probably around Sep-Nov 2024 timeframe but a July early release is possible.

There is some truth to that comment, eventually the SoC progress runs into some technology impediments. Going to 3nm isn’t without its challenges.
I suspect with 3nm we will see 22-24 hrs battery on 14” MBP and 26-28 hrs on 16”, Apple seems to be prioritizing battery gains on iPhone and Mac laptops. Hopefully iPad gets the same attention it’s been stuck at 10 hrs since it’s inception.

You realize Apple used to update their Macs twice a year?
this isn’t new.
Those were minor cpu updates that were PPC and Intel release cycle dependent. With 20% cpu performance updates every 15-18 months it’s acceptable. The rest of the hardware usually follows other industrial release, still waiting on a native true 4K MBP display. 4K-5K on 14” and 6K on 16” MBP.

Do we need only Grumman newsletter topics? Be happy someone else is a regular rumor contributor to topics. ;)
be it kuo or gurmman it's the same

right after the launch of 5nm m2 pro , my man claims "oh the next chips will be 3nm" . that's not journalism nor leaker, this is just what any person with over 75 IQ could guess

am i just a salty dude ? i mean it's better than having an onlyfans account i presume , but those self-called rumors are just so obvious that it gets comical

That's been the story of the last 40 years of personal computing. What's changed?
Consider its only been barely 39 years ago for the first Mac with 128K memory. But that first Macs $2,499 USD in 1984 is equivalent of $7,161.16 USD in 2023. So computer technology is way cheaper than it ever was. ;)

Do you think v3 will bring FaceID? That’s the only thing I’m still wanting for.
Not sure what comes next, I guess OLED or Mini-LED. Then a new design/touchscreen?

Yeah, but then a computer was a new and exciting toy that made you the coolest nerd in the class - now you need a $500 black slab several orders of magnitude more powerful than the original Mac just to read your bank balance. :)
