Well all bets are off, they came out with new M2/M2 Max 14"/16" MBPs in only 15 months. If that was the same interval, then they would arrive April 2024.So … no new 14 and 16 MBPs next year.

I believe if I read Kuo statement correctly it means production 1H2024 which could also mean as long as it starts on the last day of June 2024 the statement is accurate. I did not read it as released M3 MBP 1H2024, I expect a late release probably around Sep-Nov 2024 timeframe but a July early release is possible.Well all bets are off, they came out with new M2/M2 Max 14"/16" MBPs in only 15 months. There is some truth to that comment, eventually the SoC progress runs into some technology impediments. Going to 3nm isn’t without its challenges. The Titanic is pushing ahead at full steam! No stopping it now!
I suspect with 3nm we will see 22-24 hrs battery on 14” MBP and 26-28 hrs on 16”, Apple seems to be prioritizing battery gains on iPhone and Mac laptops. Hopefully iPad gets the same attention it’s been stuck at 10 hrs since it’s inception. There is some truth to that comment, eventually the SoC progress runs into some technology impediments. Those were minor cpu updates that were PPC and Intel release cycle dependent. With 20% cpu performance updates every 15-18 months it’s acceptable. The rest of the hardware usually follows other industrial release, still waiting on a native true 4K MBP display. 4K-5K on 14” and 6K on 16” MBP.You realize Apple used to update their Macs twice a year?
this isn’t new.
Are you paying Kuo for his insight then why are you concerned.what the hell is this guy paid for
Physics be damned. 😝would be nice to get on a yearly Mac update schedule
I wanna see M-silicon rip
This mindset loves to stew in their own misery. Just purchase what you can afford and need. Gawd. 🙄Next year the rumors will be about the M4 and you will have to keep waiting.
Do we need only Grumman newsletter topics? Be happy someone else is a regular rumor contributor to topics.what the hell is this guy paid for
Without Kuo humanity would no longer exist. We need aKuo is the gift who keeps on giving
Humanity or sanity 🤔Without Kuo humanity would no longer exist. We need anationalglobal ‘Ming-Chi Kuo day’.
That's been the story of the last 40 years of personal computing. What's changed? It’s scary when whatever you buy might be eclipsed in an another year.
anyone can guess next year it was be m3 pro and max lol
be it kuo or gurmman it's the sameDo we need only Grumman newsletter topics? Be happy someone else is a regular rumor contributor to topics.![]()
Yep, and more than likely the iPhone 15 Pro/Ultra with the A17 will be the only 2023 3NM product.
I hope so too.Hope they go back to a georgeous MBP design for the M3.
Consider its only been barely 39 years ago for the first Mac with 128K memory. But that first Macs $2,499 USD in 1984 is equivalent of $7,161.16 USD in 2023. So computer technology is way cheaper than it ever was. That's been the story of the last 40 years of personal computing. What's changed?
Yeah, but then a computer was a new and exciting toy that made you the coolest nerd in the class - now you need a $500 black slab several orders of magnitude more powerful than the original Mac just to read your bank balance.Consider its only been barely 39 years ago for the first Mac with 128K memory.
