Ugh.
Another full year of having to hear weird rumors about this unannounced unknown device.

How times have changed since the first iPhone days.
Back then — the press didn’t have a clue about what was going to change the world - until SJ unveiled it.
Nowadays we hear about delays of a product nobody has ever seen - one year in advance

I’ll believe it when I see it. There has never been any real news about this rumor.Mass shipments of Apple's long-rumored AR/VR headset may be delayed until the second half of 2023 due to unspecified "software-related issues," according to the latest information shared today by tech analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
Can I suggest Like a Stone, from Audioslave? It's about waiting for death. Seems fitting.

$3k and not being able to play Microsoft Flight Simulator on it? Nooooo.
I agree, I really doubt Apple would release a VR headset. I can see AR glasses being the next big thing, but I wonder if the tech will be ready for that anytime soon.I don’t see folks being interested in a VR headset from Apple. AR glasses on the other hand would sell like hotcakes.
So £7,499 / €7,999 for Europe. Sounds about right.$3599 I say.

That's one disgusting price, but yes, sounds about rightSo £7,499 / €7,999 for Europe. Sounds about right.
My wife convinced me to try her Peloton today. I did a scenic ride through the Scottish highlands, and I could 100% see this being a perfect use case. I've been to the highlands once in my life, and the peloton tour was great. Took me right back there. Would I pay $3k to virtually tour the highlands (and other locations) any time I workout? ... Yep. And I'm betting a lot of other people would too.Considering there is basically no use for these, and that all the other companies that sell them are not doing that great, I wouldn't be shocked if this was shelved forever.
There just is zero demand for this item, it's delay is a nothingburger.
I guess having 100,000s of beta testers is not enough when over a billion users will use it under various conditions and app combinations.Everything is delayed with Apple now days, also the whole wait and get it right doesn’t work because months of beta testing and still full of bugs software is never ok
