I love Titanium. It's very elegant, durable, and lightweight. If it ever comes into an iPhone it will make a huge difference to the weight. I hope Apple uses the Titanium Frame for iPhone 15.

I don’t see a threat from Qualcomm, nor do I think the foldable phone market will ever become large. I could be wrong, but I just don’t think it’s worth the r&d.

If it had features that could justify its price it could do. Ironically the iPhone 12 Mini on the refurb store now has a value to match its features. It’s a tempting purchase along with the MagSafe Apple battery pack.
I also wonder how many sakes the 14 Plus will get? I await the camera comparisons between the standard and Pro 14 models.
Maybe we will see titanium on the Pros and the periscope lens exclusive to the Pro Max?
I think the same about AR glasses but there we are. I seriously do not think everyone is going to go around wearing them.

Of course they will. Even if they don't need to by making software features even more exclusive. That way they can raise the price even more!

Completely agree, from memory when Jobs first came back to Apple he quickly stopped all this nonsense and confusion for customers.

I couldn’t tell you the difference between an iPhone one and two without looking it up. Today choice is needed, not one size fits all.
As far as iPhone 12 Pro being better than iPhone 14, someone can do a cost benefit analysis and look at features/functions. Was a 32 gig iPhone 4 better than an 8 gig iphone 5?
Please no feature segmentation between regular and Plus sized models. This is actually one thing that I think Apple does RIGHT in the face of its Android competitors — feature parity across different phone sizes.

On the one hand this makes a lot of sense because what is the point of a Pro line of devices if they are barely differentiated -- in any meaningful way -- from your regular products.
On the other, looking particularly at the steep price increases of the Pro devices outside of the US, there is a risk of pricing people out of features that are considered standard elsewhere.

This goes back a long way with Apple.
One example: Remember the iPad 2, and “The New iPad”? That’s was the actual name.
Now that I’m thinking about it, the iPhone names have been wildly inconsistent over the past five or so years.
iPhone 6
iPhone 6s
iPhone 7 (Basically a 6ss, but they dropped the S names)
iPhone 8 (iPhone 6sss)
iPhone X (10; Where did 9 go? Also sold alongside the 8 which launched around the same time)
iPhone XS (The S cycles are back?!)
iPhone 11 (Basically a Xss)
iPhone 12
iPhone 13 (Ope, S cycle naming gone again; Same design)
iPhone 14
And i skipped over the original concern of the quoted post, which is the Plus/Pro/Pro Max options on top of the aforementioned naming weirdness.

I’ve had every iPhone on launch day since the first one. I’m getting a 14 Pro Max as per my normal schedule but this year I did also pick up a Galaxy Fold 4 to try it out. Android has come a long way since I last used it, still not quite to iOS standards of course. However maybe the phone is a tad too thin folded but honestly the folding screen is a breath of fresh air. Something different and can be quite useful, I cannot wait until Apple makes their own and I think they’ll have to.
I agree partially but also, the overpriced Mini started being sold in Europe an entire month after the regular 12s become available. There was no actual information even on features at the time. Most had by then already ordered an iPhone.

Well played on raising prices on the iPhone 12 there Apple. The 12, 13, now 14 and that's all past history anyhoo.
