I think someone did not watch the keynote. They've clearly explained this is not a periscope, it's a different mechanism to achieve 5x.

I'm glad someone caught the meaningless sales-speak.

Specifications can be:
1) changed ("altered" for high-brow types);
2) eliminated;
3) added.

I suspect the issue with the empty-phrase though lay with the noun "specifications". I bet what really went on is imply the quantity ordered was increased, with down payment that allowed the supplier to increase their production capacity.

I am hoping it means quantity as you suggested.

What? When was that ever a thing? It used to debut a month after the keynote. It’s now less than 2 weeks after.

I find it incredible that people can actually tell the difference. I weighed out 19 g on a set of scales and I couldn’t tell the difference between a piece of paper with 19 g of cat kibble and a piece of paper way with 25g.

That’s the thing. 20g doesn’t seem like much on paper, but i tried out the 15 pro max in the store yesterday and it does legitimately feel way lighter in my hand than the reduction in weight would otherwise suggest. That plus the rounder edges makes it more comfortable to hold without a case.

I think this is another one of those scenarios where numbers alone don’t always tell the whole story.
