13 was a huge improvement over the 10 I replaced it with or the 6 that replaced. This stuff cracks me up, since the iPhone 13 Pro the battery has been AWFUL on iPhones and the speed has not been noticeable at all.
iOS does NOTHING with all this power except show off games that 3% of users will play.
2nm, 3nm, 100nm, its all marketing to get tech geeks gooning over benchmarks that mean nothing when a freaking tensor makes pixels just as fast and smooth.
why? it's an option from a menu we all have access to...Dude, your insistence on posting in monospace font is quite rude as well.
The 13 was good but the 14 and 15 since have been TRASH, real trash to the point people were fuming how fast the battery was degrading on the 14 pro on this very forum.13 was a huge improvement over the 10 I replaced it with or the 6 that replaced.
Perhaps you were using yours more than you used to?![]()
I posted a video (21:23, but use auto-generated subtitles) from Geekerwan. He called 16 Pro the true 13 Pro successor in battery department. It's insane. The 13 was good but the 14 and 15 since have been TRASH, real trash to the point people were fuming how fast the battery was degrading on the 14 pro on this very forum.
I don't have high hopes for the 16 because Apple are now a company that cuts so many corners to make a profit.
ive not seen bad batteries for ages in phones. The 13 was good but the 14 and 15 since have been TRASH, real trash to the point people were fuming how fast the battery was degrading on the 14 pro on this very forum.

sure, but it becomes Apple-specific when they secure the entire production to keep competition away.Saying "We have most advanced and fastest chip than any other competition" in presentation is nothing apple specific, its just about who's gonna pay TSMC more money.
Hey man, every nanometer matters! An instance where bigger isn’t better.
iPhone 18 in 2026 will be the 19th anniversary. iPhone 19 in 2027 will be the 20th anniversary.Guess my next iPhone will be the twentieth anniversary one. Hopefully notchless
Remember 3nm is just a pure marketing term just as 5nm was... the chips doesn't use a 3nm gate size and the 5nm chips didn't use a 5nm gate size.
Seems a low bar for HOTD. I'd put my face in their soup and blow.you've found the tiny hair in your soup - congratulations! You're my hero of the day!
he really looked at the chicken gizzards hard to come up with these predictionsKuostradamus strikes again, with another unbelievable presage that no other human being on earth could have possibly come up with! In other news, I predict the sun will rise in the east and set in the west tomorrow. You're welcome.
Been going on since the PowerBook G5A month or two ago it was "yeah, iPhone 16 (pro), here it comes, lets upgrade"
A week or two ago it was "iPhone 16 (pro) only has 8GB of RAM, boohoo, will wait for 17, where the pros get more RAM for AI!"
And now "Oh no, iPhone 17 will not get 2nm chips, wait for the iPhone 18!"
And the waiting continues ... :-D
This was a huge driver toward me upgrading my wife's 12PM and not mine; I am tired of hearing the complaints about the screen dimming when she uses it in bright conditions. I am really really hoping that the 16PM works better in that capacity.Looking forward to the 16pro - least i keep reading that one has a decent battery life and doesn't dim the display after 10 secs of full brightness.
It’s not the size of the chip, it’s how you use it!Hey man, every nanometer matters!
