Kuo did not offer any additional details about the new AirPods Max. Apple's premium over-ear noise canceling headphones were first released in December 2020 for $549, and we've previously outlined new features that would make sense for the next-generation pair, such as a USB-C port instead of Lightning, improved noise cancelation, longer battery life, new color options, a U1 chip for Precision Finding in the Find My app, and more.

Wonder if that Bra smart case will be replaced for the 2nd gen model?

I bet you everything that I have that the 2nd Gen AirPods Max will have lossless support via a wired connection. Seriously, this is the biggest and dumbest omission from the priciest headset that Apple currently sells.

Well, this sucks for me. I purposely didn't buy the Airpods Max when they were on that crazy good sale because I thought they wouldn't wait more than months to bring the H2 chip to it. Now I read it'll be years.

They’ll be on that pretty good crazy sale again later. Its the only way they can move them.

for me. They are. Now if I could just figure how to clean the ear pads easily. They are getting rather. Gross on my pair.

I use a bit of laundry detergent to make some soap water. I don’t use too much. I clean it for about three days. I also have two pairs of ear cushions so I can rotate. Been doing this since day one that the AirPods Max were available.

I have a feeling Apple isn't confident as well. Unsure of the economy. Thus, they are saving money by not innovating much in 2023 already. (It's still too early to call Apple out, Time will tell).

Everything is pretty much lined up for 2024/2025. Think about it, After long 21 years (2 decades) later Apple broke its own tradition.

The AR/VR headset is so annoying and getting on my nerves. It's already taking a long time and shifting Apple's primary focus on innovating its existing product lineup.

I’m actually excited for a quiet hardware year from Apple. Hopefully they’ll use the time to refine their software, because the hardware is mostly great—at least for my needs. I have zero complaints about APM’s I bought this year. maybe one of m favorite Apple products I’ve ever owned. please wait until BT can deliver lossless so I don’t have to buy the next model immediately.
