So next year, we will likely see the iPhone 11 S Pro Max? Might as well be iPhone 11 S Quid Quo Pro Bro Max? Getting out of hand.
most effective slow charging.Android not even need so good cpu to run decently
I don't particularly like the naming scheme since the Plus was introduced, but I'm not going to pretend it's a genuine problem in life.. #dramaqueen

Now I am extremely disappointed that half of the rumors aren’t going to make the cut for the 2019 iPhones. For shame, Apple
Ripped off or came out with their own Bluetooth tracking device?
I guess Samsung ripped off the AirPods when they came out with Buds?
Not sure about the rest of your post, but in what way will the XS/XS Max/XR be worthy upgrades after tomorrow? They’ll all be superseded by newer, better models at exactly the same price![]()
Don’t forget the innovative Apple Card. People were falling all over themselves to apply and post their awesome credit limit, rate, and the impressions the wait service had when they flopped it out at Burger King.
All the innovation, or (massive) lack thereof shall be revealed in just under six hours.
Pretty good guess that for you everything that happens has to have a clear purpose. The thought that **** just happens would make the world too frightening a place.Pretty good guess that this is [a] planned leak to soften the blow of disappointing iPhone hardware launch.
As in Apple “ripped off” a finger print reader, or mp3 player?Ripped of. And no Samsung doesn’t copy.. that may be a shock to you.
Apple though seem to have taken someone else’s idea that is from a small company and utterly ripped it off! No doubt paying off the patent office so they can sue the originator.
Because this is the ONLY possible new thing they can label as ‘innovative’, which they will announce according to rumours and leaks, and it’s not innovative in the slightest when it’s ripping off someone else’s idea.
We’ll see in a few hours.Because the new phones for this year are incredibly mild updates, an extra camera lens, pointless speed improvements you won’t notice. Buy last years models and save money! Kuo states the designs will be unchanged even.
Done.Haha, yeah but Apple will be pushing for you to use it’s fancy card for all those Apple gadget purchases..
Remember, innovation and worth upgrades are personal moving definitions. It's rare to have a precise countdown for when a massive car crash will take place so you can plan your rubbernecking in advance![]()

Before I get roasted into oblivion, I want to say I’ve been a yearly upgrader since the iPhone 4...
These Apple apologists on here are driving me up a wall. Last week y’all were screaming about how it was high time Apple matched Samsung and got reverse charging. Now a report comes out saying you won’t have it and y’all Stockholm syndrome crazies are like “the technology sucks anyways! Apple was SMART not to include this useless tech!” Hey, whatever you gotta tell yourself to justify your blind obedience, I guess.

I have been called an Apple apologist many times, yet I am left pondering what Apple is doing when it comes to wireless charging. I have a XR, so I am not waiting to buy something this year, but I would love to see Apple figure it out and allow bi-lateral charging on its devices. At least with the 2018 iPad Pro Being able to charge a device via the USB-C interface is nice, even allowing for “cables”, which everyone seems to be allergic to in these forums. This seems to be one area where Apple lacks engineers after the failure of the AirPower mat. That being said, the lack of it would not be a deal breaker for most. Bi-lateral charging looks cool in a 30 second Samsung ad, but that’s not real life, so there is that caveat.
Which upgrades were weak let’s take a look:It's interesting that around the time when Apple started its annual upgrade program is also when its annual upgrades became increasingly weak. Classic bait and switch, or just coincidence?
Anyway yes the 11 is probably a good upgrade for anyone with a 3-5 year old phone, and probably not worth considering for anyone with a newer phone.
This isn’t surprising at all - as someone rightly mentioned earlier in this thread, Apple intentionally withholds features/technology and stifles innovation.
1. Bundling a 5W charger with the XR successor - dick move
2. 64 GB base models in 2019 (quite certain this will be the case) - dick move
3. Lightning port on iPhones after aggressively transitioning every other device they sell to USB-C - dick move
4. I’m not really bothered about the loss of two-way wireless charging or the lack of Apple Pencil support - these would have been nice to have (considering the title of the event)
5. A 3rd/improved camera, faster processor, better image processing is par for the course and not innovation
6. UWB support and tile support is great, but ultimately a gimmick (not a must-have feature for anyone)
If this is true, I'll be curious to see what Apple announces to entice people to upgrade from the current XS line.. For me, it would have been something as simple as moving from the Lightning port to USB-C, since it is currently a huge hassle when I take my 2019 IPad Pro with me and have to have to different chargers, cables, etc.
Which upgrades were weak let’s take a look:
- 5s, 6,6s,7, 8,x,Xs all strong updates
Three to five years is a good amount of time for an upgrade. Maybe more so for android.
Apple to Kuo, “no invite for you”!Kuo says that he expects shipments of the new iPhone models will decline by 5 to 10 percent year over year to 65 to 70 million units because of a "lack of innovative selling points."
On the eve of "By innovation only." Ouch.
Shame. Bilateral charging would’ve been great when travelling, no need to bring a separate Apple Watch charger. Pretty disappointed if this is true, hope there’s some other features which haven’t been rumoured or it’s going to be pretty lacklustre.
Don't think they intend to try and entice X users. Seems Apple are now working on the assumption of people (not on the upgrade programme) upgrading every 3rd year - this is a good upgrade from a 7 or 7 plus, maybe 8 or 8 plus too. From a X, XS, XR or XS Max there's very little of note to justify an upgrade.Hell, they have not enticed me to upgrade from the X.
I think it's because I have enough Lightning cables to tie together and abseil down Mount Everest, due to the amount of things which come with them - phones, iPads, mice, keyboards, AirPods etc. - but only one Watch cable, so it always seems to be a bigger faff.Good point and something I never thought about. That is honestly the biggest hassle when traveling, that damn apple watch charger. It sounds silly, but I hate bringing it haha.
Ripped of. And no Samsung doesn’t copy.. that may be a shock to you.

I bought the 6s, 7, xr and max based on my comments about the phones. YMMV.6s, 7, 8, and Xs were all weak in my opinion.
Aww man...I hope they’re wrong about the two way charging being scrapped. It was actually the biggest thing making me wanna upgrade from my XR. I dunno if an extra camera will be enough. Maybe I’ll just have to wait till the 2020 iPhone comes out. ♂️
