seems like the mini things ends with the 13 for the forseeable future. Now if they'd only keep the same iphone mini size =/ I can't stand the large phones.

I agree that will likely be the starting price and it will probably got to about $2400 with all the internal upgrade options. And the M2 could support two 6K monitors, which would be a nice way to differentiate the 15in MacBook Air from the 13in model.I would like support for multiple monitors. Hoping the M2 allows for that. They should focus on portability and battery. As for price, it will probably be at least 1,699
The reason 99% of people disagree with you is because moving a keyboard (and trackpad) to the left makes the device less comfortable to type on and use. I'd never consider buying a laptop with a numeric keypad for that reason, at any size and for any price. If you have to buy a plugin keypad for a large screen 15-16in. laptop already over $1000 then thats a genuine ripoff.
Your ASD acronym threw me, but are you suggesting $700 to make the MacBook Air screen 2 inches bigger? I don't think this would be reasonable or successful.Pre-Covid and Pre-Historical Inflation, maybe, but given the high demand for the new ASD at a whopping min of $1,599, I think Apple will 100% mark up the 15 MB. $1,699 minimum sounds likely.
You’re dreaming buddy. The 15 MB will be 1799
Which is it? $1699? $1799? MacBook Air works for purposes of this thread. None of us, including you, know what it will be called or priced at. I made an educated guess of $1499 for the 8GB/512GB as I suspect this will start with 8GB to keep costs down and a $250 premium over the 13” for a 15” display sounds reasonable. You, however, read like a ranting raving know it all who really knows nothing. Try harder. It won’t be an “Air. It will be a Macbook and it will cost 1699 MINIMUM
I carried my 15" MBP everywhere for ten years. It went to over 50 countries in my targus backpack. The size or weight never annoyed me, and having enough screen real estate to work on complex tasks was worth every extra penny I paid for it.I agree the 15-inch form factor won't be a really portable computer.
The problem with numeric keypads is, only a small percentage of computer users ever use them. I believe a recent survey found it was less than 15%. Honestly, for the accounting types I know who really appreciate one? They're best served just buying one of those USB 10-key pads to plug in. Then they can add it to any desktop or laptop they like. One glaring thing I’ve always found wrong with 15 or 16in. MacBooks is the lack of a full keyboard including a numeric keypad. It’s absurd.
can't wait to see how apple mess this up or find a way to rip people off more
Agree strongly. My mom has a work laptop like this and I despise typing on it.The reason 99% of people disagree with you is because moving a keyboard (and trackpad) to the left makes the device less comfortable to type on and use. I'd never consider buying a laptop with a numeric keypad for that reason, at any size and for any price.
It will cost $200 more than what people-who-were-never-going-to-buy-it-any-price-but-can't-help-but-spend-all-day-on-the-Apple-centric-internets think it should.please be true. it's ridiculous i need to go for a 16" pro which is overkill in performance and priced too high just because i want a bigger screen.

Time for reading glasses. Sooner or later everyone get Presbyopia.I carried my 15" MBP everywhere for ten years. It went to over 50 countries in my targus backpack. I'm ten years older now and having to squint to read on a 13" screen is an unappeaing prospect. Thankfully due to Covid I haven't been traveling much but I had assumed that I'd have to lay out $2500 for the 16" once things got moving again. If I can save $1000 I'll be thrilled.
At that price I'll buy two, just to pwn the haters.MBA15 will be 1799
I will buy 1 ?At that price I'll buy two, just to pwn the haters.
$1499 is too lowWhich is it? $1699? $1799? MacBook Air works for purposes of this thread. None of us, including you, know what it will be called or priced at. If it cost that much then Apple is doing it wrong. People just want a larger MBA, which currently goes for $999 retail. I figured the refreshed 13" M2 Air (which I also believe will drop the Air name) may get a ~$200-$300 increase. Then it should be no more than $200-$300 for the larger screen. I think still think $1499 or less is the sweet spot for such a device.Pre-Covid and Pre-Historical Inflation, maybe, but given the high demand for the new ASD at a whopping min of $1,599, I think Apple will 100% mark up the 15 MB. $1,699 minimum sounds likely.
there will be millions willing to spend 1699 up to 1999 for a 15 MBA. $1499 is a joke, Apple can charge more and they will because people are degenerates myself includedIf it cost that much then Apple is doing it wrong.
