I am on 14 ProMax health is 96 percent just at end of summer (it was 100 percent through June but seemed to drop with a couple updates a bit). However I am at 67-75 percent battery left after 12 hours aprox use (7Am to 8 PMish. Seems there are some having problems like you and others with 14 ProMax’s that are ok?
I think the 14 Pro Max is a different beast with regard to battery life. I hear more complaints about the 14 Pro than the Max

No issues with my Pro. I updated last night to 16.6.1 and I went to check the battery - still 100%. I'm having great battery life, no issues with paint, camera and anything else. Solid solid phone. If was bad, I'd trade it and get the 15 Pro, but I'm super happy, so I'm looking for 16 Pro next year when I have to renew my plan.

Disclaimer - I love titanium and I have a bunch of titanium stuff. But it does look more tarnished, even compared to aluminium, after a short while. It wouldn't stop me from buying a 15 Pro, just trying to set expectations.
Apple won’t be using raw titanium, even as an alloy version. They’ll very likely have it coated to a titanium-colored finish, just to minimize the yellowing or yellow-ish shift that most titanium products have. Like you, I have bunch of titanium products and the color shift doesn’t bother me. Of course I’d love to see other metals used for iPhones in the future, such as brass, that would show even more patina over time.

Always happy to hear about better battery life and lighter weight. I'm coming from a 12 mini so it's time to upgrade regardless, but these would be welcome if true.

I wasn't talking about any color shift but the multitude of scratches that give it a worn patina.

Brass, really? Aren't these iPhones heavy enough? o_O

I am really surprised it took Apple this long to move away from the chintzy, tacky polished look. I hated it on my 13 Pro.
It is strange that Apple even chose to use polished stainless, when none of their other products offered a polished metal look. I think Apple’s best use of stainless was the sandwiched frame on the 4, and I’m hoping that the 15 Pro’s have a similar look using titanium.

Ahh, I don’t see scratching on my titanium pieces, including my watch that takes tons of abuse and it has a coated black surface. Yeah, I know that a brass iPhone would be ungodly heavy, but there is something really appealing about holding solid brass items, in large part because of their weight and how they tarnish over time.

That'd be something no doubt! But I'm willing to put money on it not happening.

I find the amount of energy invested by those producing these rumours and those sucking them up and getting their knickers in a twist just totally out of proportion.

Just wait for the official announcement of what it's going to be, and do something else more useful with your valuable time.
Why are you here?!

Remembering iPhone 14 Pro. The final year of the lightning port before embracing USB-C.

In other words, it's going to be more slippery than ever. Brushed metal is slippery because it has less grip. Smooth and rounded edges are more slippery because it has less grip.

It will probably have a matte glass back, which is also more slippery because it has less grip.

I wonder if the master of corporate greed, Tim Cook, does this intentionally in order to sell more Apple cases? Whether you buy an Apple case or go without a case, Cook wins either way. If you buy an Apple case, Cook makes money. If go without a case, you're much more likely to drop your phone and damage it, and then Cook makes money if you take it to an Apple Store for repair.
Believe it or not, there are more phone case manufacturers than Apple...

Three people have disagreed with your comment and are apparently oblivious that iPhone specs improve year on year lol.

So yep, the iPhone 15 Pro will look almost identical to an iPhone 14 Pro, albeit some slight curvature to the flat sides and shockingly enough the interior hardware will be better than last years model. Shock, horror.
Yeah nah, the weight has worsened year after year, but finally is improving this time...
