I get what you are saying, although Kia and Hyundai has improved a lot over the past 20 years. This would have made more sense if this was the 90's.

Also, saying the quality of a Mercedes Benz would fit better. The quality of the Mercedes brand has been pretty bad for a while.

That would be awesome! An electric car that SOUNDS like a classic V-8 muscle car; you could even change the car at a whim: a classic Mustang one day, and a '69 Charger the next. And, if like a Tesla, will do 0-60 in 2.8 sec. Truly the best of all worlds!!

Have you driven a Hyundai? They are exceptionally well built for that class of car and price point. I have 2015 version of the Elantra and the amenities I got are unprecedented for this class. 10 year/100k mile warranty. 4 year cosmetic warranty. Unlimited car wash detail inside and out and oil changes for life (of course that's the dealers offer), etc. It's very solid. I absolutely love this vehicle.

Oh and it will outrun the Civic SI. Research before anyone quotes me.

Yeah, I agree. I do not own a Hyundai or Kia, but I would consider getting one. Both companies have came a long way in the past 15-20 years, so the old jokes don't really fit now.

As challenging as it's been for car manufacturers to adopt CarPlay in a timely manner, I can only imagine how long it would take car manufacturers to put autonomous driving software developed by Apple into their vehicles. That's probably at least a decade or more away, if ever.

Sounds like a complaint that's really just fishing for answers rather than actually complaining about any noise. Electric motors are quite silent if I remember correctly... maybe some high pitched whirling sounds which really wouldn't be recognized as "motor noises." I have a neighbor like this that complains about anything sound at all. She probably punches herself when she makes any noise, or at least I assume she does. Hater all around but really just bored with life and super curious about the lives of others but responding always negatively.

Actually farming is moving rapidly to automaton in plowing, fertilizing, harvesting using GPS, drones, and satellites. Not far fetched to think that Apple and others would be interested.

Exactly. You would think they would build an electric car with batteries. Revving engine noises does not make sense. This whole rumor seem suspicious to me -- more than the norm for this website.

Electric Motor Testers can be quiet loud.
