New volume bezel.
Me likey! I never thought something as subtle as the volume bezel would get an overhaul in Leopard. After all these years, I'd say it's about time!
If you think it's ugly now, perhaps it'll look more polished in the final release or perhaps on a different background. I'm not complaining thought. I love it.

No problem! Thanks for the iMix, which gave me a name for the Tiger-song. I actually never thought that was any "real" song when listening to it on the intro for Tiger.

If that's the case, then maybe it's a placeholder for the real thing. Apple is good with attention to detail and this should be a quick fix.
Interesting this is the first time we've heard of or seen this new bezel though.
Personally, I like it! It's different, but I'm sure Apple will make the GM's UI completely unified by the time Leopard ships.
All the more reason I think to update the Aqua scroll bars to match eh?
I think that would be the last straw for me. iTunes scrollbars need to die.

The first time they posted the video with the new space theme the only thing anybody said was..... waaaa the music is the old one waaaaaaa, they need new music waaaaaa..... it's so outdated waaaa.... its annoying waaaa..... Now they put new music that is cool and pretty hip, and all anybody does is still complain lol. You people are amazing.

I freakin' love the new FrontRow interface, and I like the FR volume bezel as well. Additionally, Ars Technica is reporting that 9A599 may be Golden Master.
Not true. They are speculating that it is the first of a few release candidates leading up to GM. They would never EVER declare a build with severe upgrade issues as GM.
I have a question. What happened to the resolution independent interface in Leopard? Have we really seen all the "Top Secret" features Leopard has to offer.

Just so you know, UNO changes back the scrollbars...unfortunately it doesn't work yet with iTunes 7.4.2
